Great pick up as always John, I like the registration and centering on this one. I only have a few cards from 67 mainly: Hank Aaron, Eddie Matthews, Orlando Cepeda, and Al Kaline. Out of those the Aaron would be my favorite primarily because I’m working on the player run. I have started filling in the missing 1960s Ernie banks cards for another player run, so someday I will pick up a raw copy of his card from this year. Thanks as always John for sharing.

Thanks James. Once you get past the big names in the set, the cards of other Hall of Famers are not that expensive, especially in mid grade.

Nice find for the 67 Frank Robinson for $30. Very nice copy. 67 is not one of my favorite Topps designs. I prefer the cards that show team logos.

Thanks Ken! Yeah, how did I not notice the lack of a team logo??? Definitely could have been added to one of the bottom corners without taking away from the images.

Congrats on the Robinson. I building the '67 set, I down to needing 142 cards left to complete it. I'll be looking for the Mantle at the National.

Congrats on picking up the 67 Topps Frank Robinson, John. I noticed it had corner wear on the lower right back of the card, also, but if you are happy with it despite the flaws, that is all that matters. Not a big fan of the 67 design and the use of head shot views.

Thanks Kevin. Yes, I'm willing to sacrifice corner issues for nice centering, especially if the card has white borders and the corner issues are not as noticeable at first glance. If my eye focuses first on the player's image or centering and I like it, then overall I'm happy with the card.

1967 like Music , movies and tv shows cards had a great year too? I like the image to!!!! your correct this isn't a great image of Mantle his 1969 is better. Mays not a head shot not a Frank Robinson shot either!!!! still nice Banks , Nice Homerun king , nice Lou Brock , still nice Yaz , still nice Clemente , I like the card Robinson well of course you have to go with Seaver , Ilike the Carew, the Yaz The Rose.
