I didn't own a 6, but I do know that this one has Burst Photography. When taking a picture hold down the shutter release (picture button) and it'll shoot a bunch of photos at once, then you can choose the ones you want.

Very helpful but I want to know how to lock the notification access on the screen thus being unable to swipe from the left side.. Same with camera from the right side of the screen

Since you have such good info I'll let you in on one that I have yet to see from anyone else. When your on your photos page and looking at a photo that might be in landscape mode but you don't want it to rotate when you turn your phone to portrait place and hold a finger or your thumb on the photo and rotate your phone the photo stays in the direction with out turning. Hope that makes sense and thanks for your info.

Certainly true. It's mainly iOS 10 stuff. The difference between models in terms of functionality is almost nonexistent.
