Reading some of the comments I’ve been around Spanish all my life but I always still can learn more and don’t judge anyone who is learning off of the videos and send my congrats to anyone learning a different language. Regardless if it’s Spanish or English or Russian or Chinese etc of course it’s going to be difficult it just like teaching a child English.

I’m in USA for few months and starting learning Spanish through KZread ,I wish I can get some results in future when I looking back !

For those of you who think Spanish is difficult, I've been learning Russian for nearly two years; you have no idea what difficult is. I only recently started to brush up on my Spanish, as I was never fluent but understand a good amount. In saying that, I can't believe how easy this language is. If I can speak Russian at an intermediate level, there's no reason why you can't speak Spanish. I mean, for christ's sake, it's literally the same alphabet! Plus, you're almost guaranteed nowadays to have a native speaker in your area to practice with. Don't give up or whimp out, because believe me, it could be so much harder. You can do this!

I agree. Russia has a different writing system and is relatively further away from English than Spanish is. I'm guessing it would take about twice as long to learn Russian for a native English speaker than it would for Spanish. I've only been learning Spanish for 4 months, and I find it so much easier to learn than my second language of Māori (New Zealand). Spanish has so many words that are similar to English.

@@Tehui1974 Try four to five times harder. The letters are easy to learn, but the pronunciation takes some practicing and the grammar.... Oh, the grammar. 😳

@@jeffrachelburkhalter3783 I've never tried to learn Russia or any of the Eastern European languages. It's not impossible, but it obviously takes a lot of hard work.

Doesn’t hurt to learn. It would also help when you repeat the second time to say it slower. Not in the same pace. That’s so people can know how to properly pronounce.. cause sometimes it’s too fast.

The Spanish of Mexico and that of Spain are very different from each other, I think you should learn the Spanish of Spain, it could be easier

Many say that Latin American Spanish is often easier for an English speaker to learn than Spanish from Spain, in part due to clearer, slower pronunciation, more English-like words, and more direct, easy-to-understand grammar. But the problem is that in Latin American countries not everything is called the same.
