I agree, but I think the context for the particular verse and the book of Leviticus was referring to the Israelites and their fickle nature with differing tribes, gods of worship, and other idols. I personally believe this verse refers to markings of demons, idols, or other symbols of false worship. However I believe tattoos can be a way to glorify God if it is fulfilling and aligns with your own faith and relationship with the Lord and that looks different for everyone. I don’t believe that you should have tattoos to show that you’re a Christian but if it reflects your relationship and faith in Christ then who are we to judge.

Leviticus 19:28 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Sooo, yeah. These people are going to hell right?

With a simple reading of this verse, it appears that tattoos are clearly forbidden under Levitical law, we need to remember these laws were given to the nation of Israel, not all of the laws given to Israel apply to all of us. in the old testament, god gave moral, civil and ceremonial laws.

+InfinityBlade2 doesn't the bible also say that ur body isn't accepted into heaven, but only ur spirit,cus in heaven u will be given a new body?
