You made a great point about the cost for those who can or cant afford high end rc's. The best part about the cost, is being stuck at home it's a cheap way to keep one's self busy.

5:40 I'd like to see the $1000 days end. We can do it by offering them as kits, and BNR bind n run. A lot of us have our own radios already. Let's get that cost down

I would say that a 540 Brushless upgrade would wake this little buggy up.

Absolutely right on the money! Could I? Sure I COULD. But I'm into RC cars, boats, planes, electronics tinkering and DIY for props, 3D printing, etc etc. I'm already spread thin haha! So inexpensive bashers and flyers are just fine for my fun dimes. As long as they're not just absolute trash I'm game. I'll put more money in and upgrade stuff from time to time. I'm ok with repairing and stuff to save money too. Fun is fun and is usually independent of money, it's a personal taste thing too.

They are awesome... We got lucky enough to buy one about 5yrs ago when they where like $60 with a battery. So far we upgraded to a 27t motor n 2s battery n its awesome for trails

Love the budget rc under 100 thanks

This little buggy is alright, but the servo that it comes with has gears made of extremely soft plastic. Not sure if it was a bad batch at the factory, but I stripped mine out on the 3rd full battery with steering limited a bit on the controller. I've got a metal gear servo, motor ESC, and radiolink controller/receiver kit coming soon, so hopefully those upgrades will last longer than the stock garbage.

The cheaper ones can be fun as its a bit of a challenge keeping them going especially if you go on long hikes with your rigs as I do.

What speed meter do you use to check the speed of a vehicle? Could you please send me a link to get one? I would greatly appreciate it.

I just made my first purchase on bangood. Ordered a 144001 and extra shock towers. I paid extra for the expedited shipping with was only like 17 bucks. Is it worth it to pay extra for the shipping? I live near you in PA. Just wondering if it was faster. Thanks!

Nice vehicle, good overall speed, driving, climbing, cutting the grass. Looks good even without the top. To bad about the gnomes. Hope it was the original people vs vandals. It got to 110 today.🌵 🏜🥵🥵🏜. 🌵 Good fun in the🌲🌲 park 🌲🌲.⚓⚓👍🌈💖🌈👍⚓⚓.

I agree about the price thing,maybe for a youngster - some people would think that's a good starting point until they do actually show interest in continuing or that it's just a way to get them hooked on something else besides looking at a screen 18 hours a day. Did anyone else get the feeling that when Abby kicked/rolled over the buggy that it was going to continue to roll all the way down the hill? 😄 A shame about the gnome home, some people can't leave some things alone. Would've been neat if they'd add/create to expand the 'community'.

Well...BG site shows the roof with a light bar(NO led's though) They also list "High Performance OLI filled shocks"..??? Must be a new China type fluid (lol)

You guys could have gotten candied apple metallic grasshopper kit for $98 from Tower Hobbies. And you could have gotten 540 motor to put on it because it comes to free 80 that's too slow for the vehicle you could have got a Dumbo radio at a cheap nice Servo from banggood. And if you were to do that don't forget the ball bearings. And it would have been a tamiya.

Do you really think the Tower Hobbies grasshopper would get up that hill with all roots and rocks with as much ease as that buggy?

If you put another 100 in it it's faster then any 200 rtr

I bought another one you recommended for a 100 bucks but it also was from banggood (ps what's up with that name ) I could have swam to Europe and picked it up and swam back before I got it from them . Me and my boys do enjoy it though good recomondation

I got news for you this car is as good or better than a $200.00 RC CAR !! I have had one for 2 months now and nothing has broken yet..I checked the MPH of this...18 MPH..firm

It's a basket for Disc Golf... aka Frisbee Golf. There's a lot of parks where I live at in Ohio that have frisbee golf courses. I have watched people play it. It looks pretty hard to play.

At 10 for speed the battery lasts 5 minutes save your battery for 1-3 speed

Would like to c you go through the RC car you had under $100 that weren’t the best

they compared a turd RC truck that looked like the XMAXX to the Traxxas XMAXX. Traxxas wasnt happy. i wouldnt be either. it was an error, i do think Traxxas went too far though

this Chinese knock off praise is killing the RC industry. Sure its $100 less but it breaks easily then your stuffed - rare parts that aren't local! with no new tech to counterfeit there will be nothing to talk about. As a RC channel you should not condone these types of products.

They said the same stuff about the japanese products in the late 50's and the 60's and the japanese almost put the American auto companies outta business. Also electronics business! They DID take over the motorcycle business! China is coming, get used to it.
