I was born a Christian. Reading the Bible as an adult, I was left with confusion and denial. I lost my faith for a few months because of the contradictions, errors and immorality I found in it. I recently started reading the Quran and I can honestly say that I can feel God speaking through it. It is truly amazing and the True Word of God. The bible is inspired by God, but the interpretation of the authors had made it difficult to understand and full of contradictions. The Quran is as clear as glass.

*15 Astonishing facts About Islam That you Really don't know !* *1)* *“Islam” means “surrender” or “submission”* . “Salam” (which means “peace”) is the root word of “Islam”. In a religious context the word “Islam” means “the surrendering of one’s will (without compulsion) to the true will of God in an effort to achieve peace”. *2)* *“Muslim” means “anyone or anything that surrenders itself to the true will of God”.* By this definition, everything in nature (trees, animals, planets, etc.) are “muslims” because they are in a state of surrender to God’s will. In other words, they are fulfilling the purpose for which God created them. *3)* *Islam is not a new religion or cult.* It is a universal way of life and civilization. *Again, Islam is not a new religion,* rather it is the same message preached by all earlier prophets such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (peace be upon them all). But God’s final message to mankind was revealed to the last prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him), as a revival of lost teachings of previous prophets and as a reconfirmation of the eternal message. Studies show that between 1.5 and 1.8 billion people in the world identify their religion as Islam. Along with Judaism and Christianity it traces its roots through Prophet Abraham and back to the first humans Adam and Eve. *4)* *There are five pillars of practice in Islam.* These practices must be undertaken with the best of effort in order to be considered a true Muslim: A) Declaration of faith: A statement proclaiming the belief in One God and that Muhammad is a prophet of God. To become Muslim a person simply recites this statement publicly, and in Arabic. B) Formal prayer five times a day. C) Poor-due tax: 2.5% of one’s excess wealth given to the needy once a year. D) Fasting during the daylight hours in the month of Ramadan. E) Pilgrimage to Mecca at least once, if physically and financially able. *5)* *There are six articles of faith in Islam.* These are the basic beliefs that one must have in order to be considered a true Muslim. They are belief in: A) the One God. B) all of the true prophets of God. C) the original scriptures revealed to Moses, David, Jesus and Muhammad. D) the angels. E) the Day of Judgment and the Hereafter. F) destiny. *6)* *Muslims believe in the one Creator of the Universe, referring to Him as “Allah”* which is the Arabic word for “God”. Muslims worldwide, even English-speaking Muslims, frequently use the Arabic word “Allah” because Arabic is the language of the Qur’an. But Allah is no different than the God of Abraham, Moses and Jesus. The Creator is the Creator regardless of what people call Him. In the English language He is most commonly referred to as “God”. Yet Jesus spoke a different language, referring to God as “Eloi” in Mark 15:34 of the New Testament. Are “God” and “Eloi” different gods? Many Hispanics call God “Dios” and many French say “Dieu”. It would logically follow then that people who refer to God as “Allah” in the Arabic language are referring to the very same God. In fact, many Arab Jews and Arab Christians call God “Allah”. And the word “Allah” is written in Arabic script on the walls of many Arab churches and on the pages of Arabic Bibles. So while the understanding of God may differ between faith groups, the various names used to describe Him does not change the fact that the one Creator of the Universe is the God of all people. This is *Allah* Almighty, The Creator, the one and only true God. He is my God, our God: *"Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi (Throne) extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."* (Quran 2:255) *{Say, “He is Allah, the One. Allah, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” }* (Quran, 112:1-4) Allah Almighty says in the Quran: *"Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."* [Quran 39:53] *7)* *The Islamic concept of God* is that He is loving, merciful and compassionate. Islam also teaches that He is all-knowing and the perfect judge of affairs, and will punish (or forgive) accordingly. However, Allah once said to Muhammad, “My mercy prevails over my wrath”. So Islam teaches a balance between fear and hope, protecting one from both complacency and despair. *8)* *Muslims believe that God has revealed 99 of His names, or attributes, in the Qur’an.* It is through these names that one can come to know the Creator. A few of these names are the All-Merciful, the All-Knower, the Protector, the Provider, the Near, the First, the Last, the Hidden and the Source of All Peace. *9)* *The Christian concept of “vicarious atonement” (the idea that Jesus died for the sins of humanity) is alien to the Islamic concept of personal responsibility.* Islam teaches that on the Day of Judgment every person will be resurrected and will be accountable to God for their every word and deed. Consequently, a practicing Muslim is always striving to be righteous while hoping and praying for God’s acceptance and grace. *10)* *Muslims believe in all of the true prophets* that preceded Muhammad, from Adam to Jesus. Muslims believe they brought the same message of voluntarily surrendering to God’s will (islam, in a generic sense) to different peoples at different times. Muslims also believe they were “muslims” (again, in a generic sense) since they followed God’s true guidance and surrendered their will to Him. *11)* *Muslims neither worship Muhammad nor pray through him.* Muslims worship the Unseen, Omniscient Creator, Allah. *12)* *Muslims accept the original unaltered Torah (as revealed to Moses) and the original unaltered Bible (as revealed to Jesus)* since they were revealed by God. But none of these scriptures exist today in their original form or in their entirety. guys ill send some notes here inshallah. its a bit messy since i made it in notepad, but i still think it'll be beneficial. i'll come to some really interesting matters on the qur'an i just wanted to start with shaming those disgusting islamaphobes that call us "woman" opressers yet they are the ones judging a woman based on her appearance. they have a problem with women covering themselves up by their free will which is quite ironic since they are the ones calling islam "disgusting" scientists have been successful in finding out which part of our brain is resposible for lying. this has been only possible using high-end technology. it was discovered that the forelock, a part of the head that is above the forehead containing the front lobe is responsible for sinning and lying which is really interesting since the quran mentions this in surat alaq. how was an illiturate man living in the middle of nowhere called arabia was suppose to know this? No indeed;2 if he does not desist, We shall drag him by the forelock; 96:15 a lying, sinning forelock 96:16 These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement after Allah and His verses will they believe? 45:6 christians, i invite you to the religion of abraham and jesus, the true religion, islam. please be open minded and you shall find the truth. And Allah is sufficient as a Trustee of Affairs. 4:171 there has been shocking news that the chineese goverment wants to rewrite the quran. rather interestingly, a new virus has originated from china, wuhan. rather rushing speed of the spreading almost caused a mere breakdown of the health care system. And recite, what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord. There is no changer of His words, and never will you find in other than Him a refuge. kahf 27 one of the hardest problems in modern science is the origins of the human language. nobody knows how it works, nor where it came from. the only thing we can tie it to is miracles, a gift from the almighty. we can generate sentences infinitely, whilst animals are only capable of emotional expressions or repetitive communication. they cannot generate sentences infinitly like us. something should've happened to us that did not happen to any other speices. a famous pshycologist, Steve Pinker has come to the conclusion that language is innate to humans. thanks to his studies the quran mentions the divine gift of language many times. And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of your languages and colours. Verily, in that are indeed signs for men of sound knowledge. some people will say we misinterprate these verses to fit science. first of all, we would like to invite you to study islam with an open mind. secondly, the quran does not contain any science. it contains signs. We will show them Our signs in the universe and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that this ˹Quran˺ is the truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is a Witness over all things? 41:53 for nearly a century, fingerprints have been the gold standart for forensic science. its the earliest parts to develop inside the womb. the amnotic fluid flowing across the fingertips, and the growth rate influences the pattern of the fingerprints. so everyone's fingerprints are uniuqe Do people think We cannot reassemble their bones? 75:3 Yes ˹indeed˺! We are ˹most˺ capable of restoring ˹even˺ their very fingertips. 75:4 disbelievers doubt the resurrection will ever take place, that our bones will never be reassembled. allah says not only he is capable of reassembling our bones, he can also reconstruct our very fingertips. this makes it a great challenge considering the fact that everyone's fingertips are unique. Nasa's scientists say that new images from mars may hold evidence that flowing water exists on the planet they also suggest that for life to form 3 things are needed. energy like sunlight, organic chemicals and *liquid water* Do the disbelievers not realize that the heavens and earth were ˹once˺ one mass then We split them apart? And We created from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? 21:30 science today tells us that there are internal and external waves in the ocean. internal waves are gravity waves that occilate within a fluid medium rather than on it's surface which are called the external waves. science has recently discovered this in the 20th century. but the quran has mentioned this 1400 years ago. how was a man living in the middle of nowhere in a DESERT was suppose to know this? Or (their deeds) are like layers of darkness in a vast deep sea overwhelmed by a wave, above which there is another wave, above which there are clouds - layers of darkness, one above the other. When one puts forth his hand , he can hardly see it; and the one to whom Allah does not give light can have no light at all. 24:40

Seriously? The Quran clearly says that the Earth and sky were pulled apart at the beginning, and that things formed in 6 days (both common local creation myths). Muhammad confirms this in sahih hadiths: sunnah.com/muslim:2789 sunnah.com/riyadussalihin:1854 And you're saying that the Quran talks of the Big Bang, which says that there was nothing in the beginning (certainly to Earth!), atoms couldn't even form until the Period of Recombination (~400,000 years after the Big Bang), then it took billions of years for galaxies and stars to form and finally over time fuse the heavy elements from which the Earth and other planets formed. You're re-interpreting ancient myths to make them fit modern science. Let's not forget about the Sun setting in a muddy spring in the Quran, as confirmed by Muhammad in another sahih hadith: sunnah.com/abudawud:4002

Now we know that atom too can be divided. 39:21-Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs [and rivers) in the earth; then He produces thereby crops of varying colors; then they dry and you see them turned yellow; then He makes them (scattered] debris. Indeed in that is a reminder for those of understanding. (More 30:48, 7:57, 13:17,35:9, 36:34, 50:9-10, 56: 68-70, 25:49) But science discovered these later on. Water Cycle(1580's). More discovery Later. 78:6-7 - Mountains act as stakes for the earth (also 79:32, 88:19,21:31,31:10,16:15) This was later confirmed by Science. 25:53, 55:19,20 - Let loose two bodies(seas) who don't mix because of a barrier. As you know we understand that the universe started from an infinitely small point and expanded for billions of years before galaxies, stars and planets formed. The Quran is re-stating a local creation myth which says that the Earth and sky were pulled apart (can't be, Earth didn't exist) and that things formed in 6 days (wrong again, and it does say days, not periods). Embryology - have you not read the works of Galen, the Roman doctors who lived 500 years before and who's works were influential in Arabia? The exact same four stages are outline there, and in more details. www.answering-islam.org/Quran/Science/embryo.html 75:3-4 Read the verses and the tafsir, where do they mention fingerprints? This verse simply talks about god being able to restore even the fingertips (that's what all the tafsir scholars say). So, you're re-interpreting it. quranx.com/tafsirs/75.4
