@@sethgleason7611 I'm pretty sure Shulk armor stacks with normal armor, going over the max 10 bars (a friend of mine tested it when we were deciding what origin to pick for an allegedly anarchy-esque server)

One of these civilization experiment needs to be done in parts, with later parts adding in new players who can only be taught the history of the server to simulate new generations growing up. And the amount of new players is determined by various factors that indicate a nation's prosperity. Like a game. Say there are 20 people in one nation and say that like Villagers a minecrafter is agendered and can produce with any other player, that means there are 10 couples, meaning they can have a max of 10 new players. But because their food provisions are low, they're only allowed to include 9 new players, with the hypothetical 10th player having 'died' due to the low food. It could get quickly out of hand, but it would also evolve these videos to their next logical conclusion. Imagine a server whose islands were ravaged by warfare. Those new players will be handed a totally new world than the last ones, totally changing their decisions.

that is so hard but instead of it being artificial it should be natural, if it's artificial it will be hard to make it look enteraining, like just try to force new people to join and get enough people to simualte "a second generation", it's easier to just naturally let the server go on and see what will happen later. Also, GTA RP servers have sort of the news media that does news every day and there are multiple sources as well, that can be simulated very well by admins or someone who actually kinda goes from faction to faction and talks with people, watches what's happening.

The problem with Minecraft you can't really form a moral obligation that well, ofc irl a lot of people don't have moral obligation either, yet simulating it for a game. But it makes it really hard to keep peace between civilizations because sooner or later someone of another civilization will decide to attack (not even a squad but like one person) and that will in the end start a raging war on all fronts. So you can say the system is doomed to always be at war, and the more people are on the server the more likely is the event of that happening, it's kinda like real life nuclear war dilemma, it's interesting.

Im glad the merlins had a peaceful ending to theirselves with that beautiful water monument. The shulks were just being too violent since the beggining, the enderians depended too much on UCOM, and the humans were just nasty. I really took a liking to the waterbound and smart merlins.

I love how the humans just roleplayed as true humans and killed each other until they realized that anything not human was inferior to them and needed to be slaughtered. Just like real life. Definately do more.

The merlings are OP. I can see them being the winner of this experiment, as they're the ones with one draw back of " can't be on land for a while ", but how this server was raining often... Well it favored them entirely. Shulks are pretty good with a slightly tweaked human, but Enderians only work underground.

I feel like that giant water cube would've lagged the unholy hell out of the server. Still, it's hilarious that 3 of the races were immediately at peace, and humans were immediately omnidirectionally hostile. They woke up and chose violence, and were annihilated just as quickly.

No, it would be laggy at the building phase because lots of new water blocks have to be loaded, but once its complete it would be as laggy as a ocean biome (basically not laggy at all)

@@cosmodream580 Nah, the making of the water cube wasn’t laggy at all, surprisingly Salmons and Cods caused more lag than the cube, too much of them were spawning so IHN and admins had to disable salmon and cod spawns for a while until it’s sorted out, ironically the Merlings were the main cause to this since they are in water 24/7 thus non of the fishes are despawning.

it seems that the human team is mostly made up of regulars from the origins server, surprised they actually worked together at all considering its a pvp nightmare

I loved the UCOM alliance! It was so organized and peaceful until it was randomly betrayed. Plus the humans seemed like the antagonists the entire time and this conflict between the 2 sides created a great story!

I would love to see a secret floating island for the avian race that nobody knew about, a spooky mansion on the middle of all the oceans for the phantoms, and the blaze Borns emerging from a portal out of nowhere, that none of the original 4 races knew about

Im sorry but the fact that the merlings made fort water in secret for so long and still be effective makes me laugh so hard. Starvation? We fish underwater Lava cast? Only top is affected Brute force? Drown Drain? Every water is source

I like how you gave all the races biomes that fit more with their traits in this video. It a nice difference from the the other one and it changes the dynamic a lot!

I think that the merlings have a huge advantage with the battlefield being islands in an ocean, it makes it too easy to make a fortress that is simply impenetrable. I think it would be more fair if the majority of the world wasn’t water or if there happened to be large amounts of sponge available.

I just subbed right now, this is the kind of content that i was looking for

Hey friends, great video, I might have a couple of ideas that can make the game much more interesting and varied (in my humble opinion) for example there can be written a little history and characteristics to the races, also instead of birth-giving there can be a replacement for it, for example, if you build some very rare item or structure, you can bring someone back to life or bring a new player (you can add restrictions) this will allow civilizations to admit their mistakes and eventually maybe come back and win (grouping and allying is ok but it's hard to compete when 1 race is fighting 3 at the same time and cant reform and try other tactics). Those are just my (stupid) ideas about how this race war could be better (maybe someone will notice).

The fact that this civilization minecraft series has an interesting story prove that this truly has potential for a lot of content

In my opinion, the UCOM should have laid out an army like this: Merlings as a navy Shulks as an army Enderians as a sort of spec ops unit edit: wow didnt expect to get so much feedback, thanks

Deadass. The finale mixed with the music actually felt like the finale fight to a movie. All mixed together with the explosions matching with that sweet beat was so good. I first want to ask, what is that song called? Secondly, I watched this on my TV with my family with HD sounds. Truly an experience. I recommend it. I fully disagree. Merlings are easily the strongest race. Enderlings can't even touch them. Without sponges, draining the entire ocean is impossible, and even if they had unlimited sponge it would take days, not hours. Merlings could've easily ambushed anyone foolish enough to enter the water and as a last resort attempt to flood the entire map with water from build height.

I main as a merling and yeah, people tend to think that because we're pretty much dead if we're not near any water, but you can get access to resources, hit better by swimming past enemies and can climb walls if you know how to bucket hop fast

Sadly everybody who was playing died and the server has shut down, we've also been told that it's going to remain as just Origins mod to keep the stress on clients down. It was fun to do though!

Oh hey, my friend and I had this great idea. What if instead of the Shulks, you had a "Spiders" race, where they can climb walls without ladders or vines, see in the dark, and inflict venom through melee, but be prone to the Bane of Arthropods, fire, and lose attack power during the day?

Hmm that would make attacks at night very helpful But of course they could be attacked by groups of people in the day And is essentially weak against ranged weapons

nice thought, but there's already an origin like that. Here it is: *Arachnid* - _Their climbing abilities and the ability to trap their foes in spiderweb make Arachnids perfect hunters._ Abilities: Climbing - You are able to climb up any kind of wall, not just ladders. Master of Webs - You navigate cobweb perfectly, and are able to climb in them. When you hit an enemy in melee, they get stuck in cobweb for a while. Non-arthropods stuck in cobweb will be sensed by you. You are able to craft cobweb from string. Weaknesses: Carnivore - Your diet is restricted to meat; you can't eat vegetables. Fragile - You have 3 less hearts of health than humans.

This ‘experiment’ is coming across many channels now! Love to see everyone doing it by 2023 :)

Well you can’t really balance a merfolk if there’s to much water then they are strong but if there is only a quarter or less on the map all in 1 spot unless it’s that cube thing they made they can’t really do much outside

Accuse me of being off-topic, but this video really made me wonder... about Tiktok. Yeah, no kidding: I mean, those cool, creative Experiments and Games and all the stuff that Minecraft is used for doesnt stop my Worry. The Hashtag Facebook-Knowledge is really something and for those that dont know that term, check it out and have fun laughing, but tiktok is so bad with Misinformation, Myths, Anti-Science and Nonsense that it's really damaging af. Maybe i worry too much but seriously, KZread is already 'not perfect', but Tiktok makes the world worry. Summary: I hope people play more minecraft and watch some epic sci-youtubers; and stop learning Science and Truth's from Facebook and Tiktok.

This was such an amazing event! I loved every bit of it and I hope we get season 2 as soon as possible! Great editting btw mate! Also thanks for including some art at the end made by the people participating on the event, I'm sure they are very glad you put their work in it!

I love how all the land-dwellers battled it out, but the merlings were just chillin it the giant water cube.

This has me more inversed than a few shows I’ve watched. I’d love to have a TV show or animated series exactly like this.

You have no idea how long I have thought about something like this ever since learning about this mod, love to see it!

Magic-Gum is not adding enough Rules, so complexity like the Race-Attribute-System in this video here, are visibly lacking. Also, TNT is heavily changing the Fate of every single Magic-Gum-Video, making me think TNT should maybe be banned from these epic Experiments.

I love that the "happy ending" is the one where humans are hunted to extinction.

The tnt part just got me chill !!

Merlins are just too OP, rain removes their only disadvantage, while keeping their advantages. Watercubing also makes all other races drown, and it's so easy to watercube

This is probably my favorite Minecraft civilization format. The addition of races/species really makes it more interesting. Haven't finished watching yet but I'm rooting for the Merlings and I hate the humans. Edit: Hell yes Merlings win, Humans die.

Humans were pretty good at axe,sword and arrow PVP,but the main problem was that well.....They didn't really have a plan or tactic.

A huge water hole down to bedrock, then expanding under all other bases with water would be the perfect way for them to take over easily, especially if they make a maze that takes forever to get through to every other island

I think one thing you should’ve implemented was the debuffs and buffs of each race at the beginning of the video. It’s helps viewers root from a race and want to get more engaged and see if their favorite race is going to win.

I would love to see every origin in this it would be incredible

@@x-j3245 Not really, it's way too hyped up. The war ended over 20y ago, and it's common agreement that it was just batshit crazy. Sure, you have football ultras and narrow-minded teenagers spraying racist stuff, but the exception makes the rule. Many of us have grandparents and friends that come from nations that outsiders expect us to hate. We Balkanos have too similar mentalities to be hating each other

I love how at the beginning one of the human said " why are we just killing each other we can do this after racism" made me laugh so hard cuz its kind of fact in the real life

Merlin and Shulk powers seem literally overpowered. I don't know how an Ender or Human could even compete

i like how all the other races are like yay we get along so well and only have one team and the humans are like WAR DISTRUCTION AND MURDER

I wanted someone to do one of these with the origns mod. Looks epic. Maybe one day we can have a HUGE grand one with all the basic races.

One thing I would suggest for future videos is to articulate all of the rules at the beginning of the video. It’s a bit jarring to go from “everybody has 1 life” to “you can trade your leader item to revive 3 people” mid-video. It also would be cool if the audience was given more information about each faction’s leaders/motivations (ex. maybe ask Poisonking about his betrayal after the fact.) Really cool concept!
