Doing step backs makes the release faster. I like it for some cards. But yeah his release is too slow for a 100 overall PG. But hes still amazing, just not a 3 hunter

It baffles me that you think theyd change his release when its HIS RELEASE.... theyre not gonna give him a Kobe release or Korver release or booker release. Theyre gonna give him MICHAEL JORDANS release cus hes michael jordan

@@Spaid44 But........... Just learn to use that player's release. It's just trying to exploit the game by doing everything ASAP so no one can defend you. If you just play BASKETBALL, it wouldn't actually matter. Running left, right, left, right, left, right then quick release isn't basketball, it's just trying to exploit this game. That's not basketball and that's not what MJ is. Shock horror that if you use Jordan like Jordan played, he'd feel better...

If you want your shots FAST then play on jump, i dont think his shot eben on normal is bad lol. I have zero problems with it but to each his own man. I need this card ASAP

change your shot timing visual cue to the faster ones like jump or set point and you'll have a faster animation. anyone can green all of them its jutaking the time to get it down and green every time. but if your release is only issue because its slow then Theres something you can do about it at least.

changing visual cue to jump only works for offline. it will fuck up your timing if you play online with all the latency.

instead of trying to 3 hunt why don't you showcase his explosiveness to the rim in that way it will open up oppurtunity for you to hit occasional 3s. that's the difference between watching your gameplay & Splashy. Splash always showcase the strength of the card & just takes what the deffense is giving him instead of trying to force the situation. #JustAnHonestOpinion

Splash is better than me at the game sure, but I'm tryna use MJ in multiple ways. It's okay to showcase that he's not an elite 3 hunter. I slashed with him plenty he still had 30 in a half

You just gotta know how to use the card/player. If someone has a slower more baited jumper but can finish. Hunt the middy and inside. That’ll force the defense to play a lot lower then hit em w a snatch back and they looking foolish🤣🤣 also when has Mj ever been a 3 hunter? He’s not. Play to his strengths and I’m sure you’d do just fine. Never played w pd Jordan yet tho

If they changed his release already he'd be arguably the best for the rest of the year they're not stupid

It's a shame because this game is more about what works in game than just using players as they played. MJ would be great if you stopped running left, right, left, right, left, right constantly - but hey, that's what works in this game usually. That just doesn't constitute what Jordan was

same issue every year,jordan was the elite of the elite as a player but just doesnt translate into this as a card in nba2k games for whatever reason,thats not to say he isnt a very good card but how often do you see an mj make it into anybodys final myteam squad,iverson is another(for more obvious reasons)that doesnt seem to translate well as a nba2k card
