100 Korean to English sentences! #2
The Simplest Way to Learn Korean!!
www.amazon.com/Super-Simple-K...
*** Korean has 2 modes, casual and formal. All these sentences are the CASUAL way. It's considered rude to speak in casual mode to a complete stranger or someone older than you, but to a friend you know very well it's ok. Casual Korean sentences.
I'll introduce the formal mode in the next video, it's pretty easy, you just gotta add a 요 to everything, pretty much. Thanks for watching!

You know, as I laugh and thanks for being hilarious! This is probably the best thing that ever happened to me in learning Korean! I need conversation! I can focus on it or simply let it play in the background, but I am hearing a native speaker engaging (albeit with himself lol)in conversation, and ever so clearly and distinctly. This is how children at school thrive and develop vocabulary, by just communicating with others their age, also by their teacher giving sight words, terms to look up, and just basic convo, especially those kids whose parents don't talk to them enough. Enough of my rambling. Well done, sir. Keep on teaching us. With this, I can be near fluent in 3 years like my local teacher!

YES that is so helpful, then you can better improvise your own sentences with vocab...also really good for understanding grammar with the whole SOV format and sometimes null subject.
This is the Fantastic way of explaining the sentences using literal and actual translation simultaneously, it's very helpful to point out the words with it's meaning, really awesome 😄 👍 thanks a bunch kyu 😄 🙏

thank you so much for this. i appreciate your hard work. i was wondering though if 맛있어 (8:16 and 8:29) and 맛이없어 (8:21) should have been used since we were talking about "taste" instead of the adjective 맞다? also, "who's home" or "who is home" (5:53) should be "whose home" or "who the house belongs to" since the reply was "my home". please advise. thanks, again. your videos are a lifesaver. i was about to give up coz learning korean was so difficult but then i found your videos. you made learning fun again so i can't thank you enough 😀🤓

Not sure if you will see this, but how would a listener distinguish between the words "먼었어" and "먼어서"? I'm guessing it's context, since to my American ear, it sounds identical. Thank you very much for these videos!! They are the best out there for learning sentence-building!!

@kyu2813

@@theartofexpression ohh the difference between ㅅ and ㅆ? Actually I think they're pretty different, but yeah I think it may be hard if you're a non native speaker. I wish I could let youn listen to a short recording, but maybe you can try to input 그래서 and 그랬어 in Google translate and hear the difference! And yeah, the context of the sentences helps distinguish too. Thanks for clearing up the question Bom.

There's no English equivalent so it's hard to explain but it's like... "right?" or "huh?" For example: 너 오늘 바쁘네 (You today busy, huh?) 너 오늘 학교 가네 (You today school go, huh?) Haha, I don't know... Japanese has the same kind of "ne", if you ever heard anyone say something like soudesu ne! Or something like that.
