They do. You can blame the hip hop/streetwear culture and artists such as TS and others. Nike still makes dunks quite frequently, its just now that they're culturally relevant, the vultures buy them all.

this was a really sick video! i like the antics between Matt and Mason and Mason’s piercingly solid kickflip and kickflip variations. i think the instagram handles of the skaters should be included at the end tho because they should be acknowledged for their work on the video and Matt and Mason have genuinely awesome instagram pages

I think Nike should just find a few good designs and keep them (like they did with the Stefans and the Dunks/Blazers ALTHOUGH they discontinued both of those for a while as well). Over the years they've had the bruins, Koston 1/2/3, classics, multiple team additions, the shoe guy skates, the all court, plus discontinued the bruins/blazers/dunks. I think just pick a few and keep them rather than making new shoes that inevitably won't sell as well as the others and discontinuing them after a while. Same way vans always has the half cab, era pro, old skool, old skool pro, Chukka low etc. So - dunks, blazers, classics, stefans, bruins, all courts and maybe a couple of pro shoes (lets be honest Shane's shoe is basically a Janoski). It would've been cool if they kept the Kostons as a team shoe as well.

Alot wear smaller size on purpose as well for flicking purposes and so the foot is not moving around in the shoe. I technically wear 9 or 9.5 but I wear a 8.5 so it's really snug because shoes stretch out as you skate them. Just a preference though.

Cupsole, but basically feel pretty close to a vulcanized shoe I'd say. However they REALLY don't seem to last long if you go through shoes rather quick or within a month. Which is a baseline since it depends on how you skate, and we all skate different but I'd argue they blow out fast af. I base a shoe off a months time and if it falls short like these do then it's a yikkkkkes for me. *Depending on the price, and these are def expensive AF. Keep in mind you can take what I say with a grain of salt of course and factor in how much and how you skate, but I maintain they ain't shit durability wise but can be salvageable with shoe goo because that lace bed WILL rip up fast. Now as far as they skate, one of my favorites. Damn good to skate. Insole is straight dogpussy tho. It basically has a hell of a lot more board feel than a cupsole.

BIG FACTS. I did 100 in them and... Yeah I legit wasted my money basically. At least I got a video to upload from it, but was super sad because videos aside, I wanted to like them... They skate bomb af for the 2 minutes that they last. I'd recommend trying them if you get them for FAR less and or have the money going around to get them for far less but then again... what's the point if you are the type that sticks to the same or similar shoes. With the price, it's really not worth being a repeat shoe if you will, or a go to. I personally jump around, but do like to have my few same fall back shoes I stick to when not doing reviews. Holy shit why did I just waste my time typing all this 🥴🥴😂😂

You just gotta go watch those videos, 1. 2. Actually Kickflips are generally one of the MOST damaging tricks and things you can do to a shoe so while youre right it's not perfect, and they shouldnt make too much claims outside of what they TESTED (100 kickflips) it is kind of a good baseline IMO. *Again not for in general, for that you do need to actually test it and with other tricks, youre right. And with the price of these, yeah these are not at all worth it. They last as long as dogpussy. Now for someone who doesn't kickflip a lot (Not me, I do at least 100 a week) you can then see it will likely REALLY last you since again kickflips kill shoes quicker generally than all other tricks, I think that is why ppl will watch 100 kickflip videos. Like a Heel flip damages the middle part of the shoe, partially the toe cap since you use more of your literal heel to flip and a kickflip does more damage on the toe cap, middle of shoe, and that upper part of the shoe above the toecap. Most tricks revolve around those two flip tricks. My fault, I know you didnt ask for all this shit 🥴😂
