I really wish they sold a standard color dunk all year round instead of catering to the Hypebeast scene. I’m pretty sure a ton of people would consistently buy these and blazers all year round. I know I would.

You could try the eS Accel OG. A little bulkier in tongue and collar than current dunk lows, but pretty close. I'd say even more comfortable than dunks with footprint insoles. And come in basic colorways.

Dunks are skate shoes at the end of the day

Apparently the SB Dunks are not going to the prospect customers- which are the skaters; cos them hypebeast boys be copping them first. CCS did this for the culture

I wish Nike would make 80-90 dollar dunks again😔 i miss when you could go to their webshop and there would be loads of options for dunks. Now, they’re always sold out.

TUCK3R I don’t think Nike is skateboarding,has been skateboarding, or ever will be skateboarding. Sure they produce good shoes, but it’s about the money. If skaters weren’t buying SB shoes, but they were still selling, Nike would just continue making what sells. If skateboarding was less popular, Nike would probably discontinue making skateboarding products.

The reason it’s so expensive Is because they look cool and lots of people want them but only a few have them hence the people who have them charge high prices for them the same thing happens with many things like penny’s cars and like even nurf guns, don’t get why people hate on “hypebeasts” it doesn’t even effect you in the slightest

Right? I'd like to see a few "boring" colorways that are constantly produced and restocked. The special ones are cool, but it sucks to not be able to get dunks if you just wanna skate em. every shoe should be worn, no matter the price, some people dont even have shoes, were having less and less materials by the day, make use of whats left, you cant recycle forever, eventually the recycled material becomes too brittle to be used

Nah. Hope you collectors start losing value from these shoes once the SB dunks start coming back in normal colors soon. SBs are meant skateboarding not you hypebeasts that gotta get a color matching purse to go with your shoes.

Way back in the day I would skate SB Dunks regardless of GR or QS. Sometimes QS releases would actually go on sale at brick and mortar skate shops. Man, it was so easy and cheap to get Dunks in the late 2000s and early 2010s. People didn’t want them like the early and mid-2000s. Now, the hype is back.
