'Breaking the Bank', 'Escaping the Prison' and 'Infuriating the Airship' still make me deeply twitch with nostalgia. Completing the Mission will probably also become my baby given time.

I will never forget The Henry Stickmin Collection, I remember playing the original games and watching all the many let's plays about it, heck it even was my introduction to indie games and indie works in general, Henry will forever be a legend

I like how you can tell “stealing the diamond” was the intended finale for the series, all from how insane the levels choosen get. (Gaint monster, police chases,)

Great Video! The henry series as a whole will always be one of my all time favorites. It has a certain charm to it that makes it so special. The Henry fanbase also continues to amaze me. Seeing all the creativity and talent from all the people in this community has been so cool to see! All the different events like the reanimated collab and Stickmin Direct have been amazing experiences as well. I'm glad to see that even after many years of the series being over, the community is still as strong as ever.

WOW, kudos! This video's so good. I really appreciate having one of these retrospective videos to the Stickmin series, considering it's also been really important to me as well! The video's structure was so great, I loved how you covered the games and didn't just give a plot summary (you did, but like, really briefly, to where it wasn't really the video's focus), and I loved the little interludes too to give a bit of a breather! I also really appreciate the little nods to the community. It's funny you mention 2 Left Thumbs' Finding the References series, because I feel like his and your content kind of overlap a bit, I'd recommend checking out his other videos (the dude's a freakin' legendary Flash related KZreadr imo). And also thanks for mentioning the Reanimated collab at the end! I was one of the directors for it, and I'm really happy to see that people enjoy it so much :) Definitely earned a sub! :P Edit: also just wanted to appreciate the thumbnail art for a moment

It is genuinely so refreshing to see long form Henry content on KZread in 2024. This series has had a huge impact on me (I’ve made several fangames, some of which span over a year in development with another title well on the way!), and it’s nice to see other people still remember it. Also I fully agree that FtC is the best game. It’s the one that really got me into the series, but it’s gotta be the best package imo. I just with CtM utilized it more

I love how enthusiastic you are about your love for Charles cuz honestly same Also that thumbnail art is so cute and well-drawn!

I remember first playing and loving escaping the prison on stickpage, and how I always looked to see when a new one released. Completing the collection really did feel rewarding after all those years!

in the original stealing the diamond, when we are introduced to the CCC characters you can hear CSI Maiami's intro in the background and the one with glasses complains about the noise, unfortunately this reference was cut in the remastering and the joke is unfortunately lost;-;

A very well created and entertaining video. Well done! I remember playing Escaping the prison as a kid and Stealing the Diamond but I think by the release of the later games I was older and didn't ever play them

This was an amazing retrospective to watch! The Henry Stickmin series is something I hold near and dear to my heart, and has been something that affected me for the better. The series that Puff has made and how much people love it too is one of the reasons why I love being in the community. And thank you for including Reanimated as well, Dark Mage and I were the co-creators of this, along with the other people involved in the project to make it into a reality. You really did an amazing job with this video!!

This was a very cool video, I loved your riddle school retrospective and this one is even better I'll be honest. As someone who is very active in the Henry Stickmin Community, this is a very nice addition to the retrospectives we got, probably my favorite one. Thanks for also discussing a lil about the reanimated Collab and the fangames, not everyone talks about those and we as a community appreciate it, thank you for making this.

I'm glad I could represent the Henry Stickmin community, the series has always really resonated with me, and that was the main force behind the video for me.

Oh wow I think this video is gonna become part of my "Henry Stickmin videos to binge-watch when bored"! Ive recently become more involved with the community myself after 3 years of drawing and animating silly things for this franchise and seeing a 40+ minute video about this amazing game release only a few days ago really warms my soul about this game series as its so nostalgic to me like it is to many others. I honestly thank you for making this video (and making me laugh in some parts of it!) I loved the nod to the community fan projects too at the end :D

i used to 100% all the original games, and have 100%ed the collection! these are great games

This is amazing! Can't wait for more flash game retrospectives. I'd love to see videos on more great series, like Epic Battle Fantasy, or Scriptwelder's 2 series: Deep Sleep and Don't Escape.

Y'know, this video was already very good but the end speedpaint definitely made it more than worth it. Why does this have less than 10K views?

I wish the tower fan game wasn't canned or on hold. Ether I played a bunch of fan games.the fnaf one and the parody versions of the prison one Plus the fan games that help to try to add to some of the games and paths of thr canon series

I think that it shows that someone can be alot of different things just dependent on what they choose to do... If you could go back and change even 1 thing then you would come back to being a completely different person

I 100% the game TWICE because the first time Steam didn’t pop all of the achievements the first time.

23:21 This technically isnt true at first, considering when playing the Revenged ending, you can only use TB and RPE (Rapidly Promoted Executive) where Henry becomes the new leader. But ig Reginald becomes the leader once he throws him off lol

The moble versions of breaking the prison and stealing the diamond don't have much differences from the legacy version. (Pokeball became great ball and blue in sta) and the breaking the prison has a exclusive medal( you click a wanted poster) the others were basically exactly the same as the legacy version. Or a Frankenstein version of the bank one (old sounds and collections look) and somehow pirates got the last ones at some point but if you look around for the prison and diamond ones those are the only mobile versions that are worth it. Avoid the mobile versions of the other other ones

I bought the collection to support the devs, but i dont plan on playing it soon. I planned on playing when i was 30 or something, as like some sort of time capsule to reminisce the old internet.

1:30 Seems sort of like a modern version of Dragons Lair, where there isn’t really much actual gameplay and a lot of the appeal is watching the myriad of animated fail-states

Can you turn off the updated graphics?

9:24 changing content actually goes against the definition of “definitive”, so that’s a poor choice of descriptor. It’s the best version but not definitive.
