The main secret to our po-boys is the bread. Like NYC water w/ their bagels and pizza, our water is was separates our bread from regular french bread. You wouldn't be able to replicate that in L.A. If you do want some authentic NOLA food there, check out the Willie Mae's Scotch House location of the historic NOLA institution in L.A. (Venice). There you can eat the world famous fried chicken they're famous for.

Love the food and city. Been going there now for 40 years. But, and this ain’t a rip on the city, I know worlds in a ditch. But the video actually made me feel bad cause the food and products used to look soooooooooooo much better. Now I get gout, I cannot eat anything cause it makes me sick. But, today food tastes so bad, I don’t care. Does anyone else notice this? Does food still taste normal in Europe??
