Heavy thunderstorm sounds.
I feel badly you have to prove yourself that you are doing 100% genuine dirty rugs, not staging them. Just look at the variety of filth and the different colors of dirt! Thanks for another great video and for helping this family.

it's crazy because there's definitely channels that are faking their rug cleaning vids...... like they had a perfectly clean rug and just threw a bag of dirt on it for the video those annoy me the most i don't really care if it's real or fake but saying james is the one that's faking is absolutely crazy
@Seradaluna

And like, why fake a rug cleaning video in the first place. James here does a great job if you do as good as he does I doubt you need to fake anything.

Unfortunately I think he ends up being doubted because there’s been “bootleg” white boots rug cleaning channels that pretty clearly just slather a rug in mud before rinsing it out Just a shame that these copycats make people question his legitimacy when he’s been restoring rugs for so long

Your rug cleaning videos were the first ones I came across on YT. Since then YT has tried suggesting so many other people doing the same as you but I'm never able to get more than a minute or so into watching theirs before I'm changing it and pulling one of your videos up to watch. I really can't explain it but there's something unique about the way you work that genuinely keeps me interested. Your videos have become a part of my nightly routine for getting to bed. Thank you so much for all you do to help restore peoples rugs and for sharing it with us! I wish you all of the success! 😊

As someone who has experienced flooding I have to say you did and amazing job. None of my rugs looked that good after cleaning. We had to send them back. Also I wouldn’t be able to keep my shoes on if I had your job. It must be awesome to paddle in all that lovely soapy stuff.

James you don’t need to prove yourself ❤ you always do an amazing job and so compassionate and empathetic ❤ the doubters will doubt it’s their problem not yours ❤
Just asked Dr. Google and, yeah, LdP carpets can get quite pricey. You really don't wanna throw these out. Great job.
Haven't watched any of your videos for a while as life got busy, but I come back to find that Dirt Reynolds has a hat?! Damn near made my day! 😁
This is the first time ive sen you use a vacuum! 😮 Then again it's the first time you received a rug that was in a dry enough condition to be vacuumed lol. Wonderful job as always ❤
Amazing video. Not only the largest rug I think I've seen you clean, but the first one where I was worried about the added wear and potential damage the cleaning process might do to the fibres. However, though I'm sure there are more detailed bespoke vintage & antique rug restoration / cleaning businesses out there that might do better, the prices they charge are likely exorbitant, and you are definitely a specialist in your field after all. Really awesome of you to help these people out for free!

Wow. What a gorgeous rug! Thanks for giving it all the love and care it (and the owners) needed right now.
It's nice to see you cleaning this traditional Persian rug. You are a really skilled rug cleaner. You clean rugs and make them shine. You deserve an Oscar award in the rug cleaning world. Love from South India

Incredible clean, James! This rug is gorgeous and you restored it to it's former beauty. Loved the back story with video.❤

Excellent. I love a good back of the rug brushing. 😁 Those eruptions keep getting better and better. I do believe this is the biggest rug you've done. What wonderfully fantastic thing you have done for that family. I'm glad you were able to help! You're generosity, kindness, and love for what you do truly sets you apart from all the others. Keep up the wonderful work and thank you for all that you do. Have a fantastic weekend

i love the insight given into the importance and sentimental value of this rug! it makes the cleaning all the more impactful. great job!!
It was interesting to see the house where the rug came from. I hope the house doesn't flood again and that it got clean up and the people were able to move back in.
So lovely to see this beautiful rug be brought back to life. A splendid job. And I can't tell you how happy it made me to see you applying two out of the three soap applications from the top end!
Wow!! What a huge difference. ❤❤❤😊
Thank you for putting real effort into your channel and taking our suggestions! It shows!
Great shots of the process! As always I love the spiral soap pour!
What a beautiful rug, I would never get the chance to see something of that quality normally so I'm really grateful for the chance to watch it be restored to it's former glory :)
AMAZING JAMESS. Im so happy to see my favorite scraping angle. Your foam game just gets better and better lol Bravo
The pattern of bubbles that appeared as you hosed off the blue soap was mesmerising 😍
Wow! Amazing transformation!! Absolutely satisfying to watch. Of course I ALWAYS L💖VE IT when you show the extractor dump🙏🏻😊
That is a gorgeous rug. You have treated it with the utmost skill and respect. Amazing.
Beautiful restoration. Well done!! I definitely think you need to do compilation of all the big rugs you clean. ☺️

You do such a fantastic job on these rugs.❤😊
I really like that you use the electric stirrer. When you make it overflow, it makes me think of a party fountain! What fun! Thank you for the videos. They help me a lot!
What a beautiful carpet! Well done on a good job & on saving it so it can be the heirloom piece it ought to be!

Glad I've never had a flooded house before!
You are so gifted.
I thought it was pretty before the cleaning, but wow! It is beautiful. I can see why they treasure it.
Es ist wunderschön. *"It is beautiful" in my mother tongue. Everything I love about your videos is there. And finally a beautiful carpet again. Although the white one with the colourful pattern on it was nice too. As always: A big thank you.

The blue soap 😍
This is the same rug I had in the entryway growing up. Wild. I had totally forgotten about it
Neat job ❤😀
Have you ever thought about starting the soap pour closest to you and work your way out? I feel like this would cause the soap to run throughout the rug and not automatically out into the drain. Maybe it’s just my neurotic brain 🤪, but I always over analyze every situation a million times over to have the best outcome lol. Also, the blue soap pour is literally sooooo beautiful, my favorite part!!

Hi! What's that blue soap? Just curious
What a beautiful rug can understand why they wanted to save it
I love your videos watching them feels like when you would go through the car wash with all the colorful bubbles as a kid😌
I was wondering what the best affordable pet smells and stains carpet cleaner you would recommend ? I am disabled so on a limited budget, but my dog is getting older and having accidents. And though she is being pad trained she still sometimes misses because she's got cloudy eyes and can't fully see.
Such lovely colors! Nice job! How long did take for you do this? It must of taken 4hrs to do it. Or more. Would love to know.

If you doubt what he is doing is real, send him your own carpet to be cleaned. Keep cleaning those filthy carpets! You do not have to prove yourself to anyone, please continue to help people! ❤ 🤗
I also had a flood in my home this year. I cleaned my own carpet, which means it’s probably not clean at all… Anyway, great work!
Do you hang dry the rugs when you’re done??
I like the blue shampoo.
My guess is you really love Persian rugs to put so much effort into restoring their beauty.
What is the blue soap you use
Hello! Can anyone tell me how he gets the water out of the gully? Does it drain somewhere or does he have to suck it out? I'm strangely fascinated! Thanks!
Omg, I remember this brand from my childhood.
Spraying the soap foam out of the bucket was sooooo satisfying!! Great work as always!
Thank you for helping the owners out. Sad you feel the need to defend yourself. Just keep being true to yourself. Haters always gonna hate ❤

the CRB with the blue goo is the best combo...can you splash some of that on the camera?..water hitting the camera lens is my most fav ASMR trigger..
Hey James, what causes the shampoo to "explode"?
everytime i see a video of cleaning a rug i get amazed by the amount of water that gets wasted. how many cubic meters of fresh water are used in a job like this
The cowboy hat is fun!
Until you actually started cleaning, I didn't think it looked too bad! Shows how looks can be deceiving - I'm guessing that because it's a higher-quality carpet, it's a better weave/much thicker (even if it's not a shag) pile? Amazing work getting it back to the After colours, though. A beautiful rug.
I still think that R2-Clean2 needs a beret. I’m a weirdo, I suppose. Gorgeous rug. Wish we had a picture from before the flood.
Do you recycle the water?
So good 🤩🧼😌🫧🧽🎉

Do you ever extract the rugs before cleaning? I feel like for a rug like this it would go a long way... But I'm no professional cleaner, and you are, so I'm probably wrong. But I am curious.

How does the water not flood the garage he’s doing the cleaning in?
