I think the "Do they not actually bloop?" is a Mario reference. Bloopers are a squid enemy and are pretty iconic at this point.

Orville and Wilbur are not the only extinct animals. Tucker is a Mammoth which is EXTINCT

I wanna say he didn't count Tucker because Tucker's _model_ is that of an Elephant villager, which is _not_ extinct. He also refers to himself as an elephant. The visual design is clearly based off the extinct mammoth, though, so I definitely get where you're coming from. Orville and Wilbur, on the other hand, have models that are clearly based off the extinct Dodo, so those are unambiguous.

Correction at 1:21: The animal crossing city folk song that play when an invalid name is entered is not "Animal City" since that's a normal song that you can buy/unlock it's actually the Wild World/City Folk title screen song that's played and Animal City is the music that plays when visiting the city in City Folk

3:10 it’s only Animal Crossing Wild World that allows 8 villagers not New Horizon, New Horizon’s Villager allows up to 10 villagers

Then he was featured in City Folk too with Frillard in the Marquee, and you could learn up to four emotions by paying 800 bells to see a show based on that emotion. There IS another exception to #35- Tom Nook, Timmy, and Tommy. I always assumed Tim & Tom were Nook's nephews. But according to official sources, they are all UNRELATED, Tom just "found" Tim & Tom and has decided to teach them Capitalism. *(Which seems far fishier than just "Nook is their dad//uncle"...?)

About that thing of the porting of Animal Forest to the Gamecube, it was not an exact port with no changes, the Gamecube one we in the States got as our first released Animal Crossing? Even when not counting the localization differences based on region, the one in the series we got on the Gamecube, is actually a port that improves the game than it's N64 counterpart. Stuff like, for example, the Ereader card function? That wasn't in the N64 version. There's a big list of added stuff for the Gamecube releas, but I'm too forgetful and too sleepy at this night, to think of them all right now...

The international Gamecube version wasn't even derived from the N64 version either, it's derived from the Japanese only Gamecube port "Dobustu no mori +". The international version was then translated back into Japanese with all the changes that it made as "Dobustu no mori e+", which added more things, including going into Nook's shop after hours like shown in the video. The life-cycle of the original Animal Crossing game is messy.
