I have more random facts: The Pacific Ocean is bigger than all land on earth combined. You can fit 34 million Vatican Citys in Russia. Monaco with 40,000 people has a similar GDP to Somalia with about 17 million. The sun never sets UK and France because of overseas territories. India has a higher population than all of Africa. And yet, France and UK each have a higher GDP than Africa. In Czechia, beer is cheaper than water.

Australia is a bit of a debate. Depends if you are counting those that are part of Oceana (like Fiji, Palau, Somoa, etc), which I think you have to do. With all of those there are 14 in Australia. North America has way more than that. A lot of people think North America is just Canada, US and Mexico, but all of Central America is technically in North America, as well as all of the Caribbean island nations.

And I've heard _Australasia_ used to describe the continent plus New Guinea, New Zealand, Samoa and other Pacific nations. But Australia itself I have not heard described as having all those within its continent. As you noted, the line can be drawn in various ways.

In #2, 5 of the 'stans' used to be part of the Soviet Union--Kazakh-, Tajik-, Turkmen-, Uzbek- and Kyrgyz-, and #1 is the home of Baikonur--Russia's Cape Canaveral. If the water between the arctic islands of Canada were removed, the US would be bigger than Canada, but it would still be ridiculously close. I'm not certain what your point was when talking about S. America, and bringing in Antarctica, but it sounded more than a bit questionable, since they're each continents on their own. On this side of the pond, "The Americas" is considered 2 continents--N.A. and S.A., with the Caribbean lands being part of the North portion. You neglected to clarify whether the #67 tree is a redwood or a Sequoia. Since the trunk is rather stocky, I'm going to guess Sequoia. You dropped the ball on #77, as the north coast of Alaska (USA) also faces the Arctic Ocean--from the NW corner to the Canadian border. Just an FYI, the last time I updated my list of international airports here in the USA, it stood at 156.

He meant that Antarctica has no countries, so that's obviously the continent with the fewest countries. If you don't include Antarctica, than it would be South America.

Add United States to countries surrounded by the Pacific, Atlantic and Arctic oceans (Alaska) …and, 336,000,000 cars for a population of 1.4 billion people surprises me considering how much we hear of Chinese wealth. The US has 283,000,000 vehicles registered for a population of 336 million people.

Here's some more facts... Canada is the wimpyest country in North America. There are more Indians working in the UAE than in India. Suriname is hot. VERY hot. Sweden is actually only the second largest consumer of Swedish meatballs. Surprisingly, number one is Afghanistan. There are 193 countries on Earth, and 87% of them suck. North Korea is actually the free-est country in the world. They spend 90% of their GDP on propaganda saying they aren't. The country that emerged from the Ottoman Empire was originally called Bald Eagle, but Benjamin Franklin suggested they call it Turkey. The United Nations HQ is still in New York. No one knows why. Antarctica is claimed by 12 different countries, but it is actually inhabited by extra-terrestrials. There are no countries in the world where Pepsi is more popular than Coke. At least, none I'd ever want to visit. If Australia were in the Northern Hemisphere, it would still be f*cking weird. San Marino is known for its postage stamps. And nothing else. The country of Eswatini got its name from a drinks menu at a hotel bar in Manhattan. An enclave is country completely surrounded by another totally different country. Like Austin. The USA and UK do NOT have English as an official language (I think that one might actually be true).
