I give that hotel a 2 star review. It’s not scary enough.

The Guiding Light (also known by many as Spirit) is an entity that resides in the Hotel. Its main purpose is to help players by emitting a blue light in certain areas and doors. Although not possessive of a physical appearance, the Guiding Light is capable of helping and communicating with the player with its glow, the sounds it creates and its advice for each entity in many ways: After being in a Dark Room for around 20 seconds to 1 minute, the Guiding Light will highlight the door to the next room while also lighting up the surrounding area. If there is a Room Key in this room, it is also highlighted. The Guiding Light causes important objects to emit a sound, such as library books, notes and keys. (Although keys will emit a much fainter noise than books) While in both chase sequences with Seek, the Guiding Light will highlight the areas in which the player needs to crouch and the doors they need to enter to progress. When the player enters the Paintings Puzzle Room, the Guiding Light will show the player the frames of each painting, making it easier for them to place paintings correctly. Upon the player's death, they will be greeted with a message. This message will vary depending on how the player died, giving tips about how to avoid certain entities. When dying to the same entity multiple times, the message will change to give more tips and encourage the player. If the player dies many times, the death message will usually repeat the last death message instead of looping to the first death message. If the player dies to Seek, the message the Guiding Light gives to the player will vary depending on how far they have gotten in the chase sequence, and how they died.

The Eyes have a random chance of spawning every time the player enters a new room. They rapidly take away the player's health if the player looks at them. The player can avoid taking damage by looking away and walking backwards around it. You can also look straight down and walk straight through it. You are able to tell if The Eyes are near by either seeing a purple-Ish blue glowing light near them or hearing a unique sound.

i dont think this is a well made Doors thing. it would be better if when used 'Light flicker' a remake of Rush or Ambush comes and you have to hide in closets. and like Chase sections where you get chased by Seek. that would make it better. its my opinion
