I just need to know your training costs 😂. I have a mare that would make a nice one with the right training shes been abusived previously and is just a nervous wreck. She rides but not the best. Shes been chiropracted, teeth floated, and leg xrays because she had some rough scars. I cant get her to set her head no matter what I do, unless you ask her to back up she throws it straight up. Im not sure what to do shes in a snaffle and I've trained multiple before.
the palomino you ponied him w/ was incredible. just so calm, collected and patient what an amazing horse.
Jacqueline, I remember watching your ride with Deo Volente using the garrocha pole, and I was so proud of you and my heart just swelled with joy. Tears are pouring down my face as I type. I am so sorry about your mum....such a huge loss. I remember the "first" time I watched one of your videos, the one in which you shared your faith and told us about your mum. I kept watching you because you are an awesome horsewoman, but more than that, I loved the light of Jesus that shines through you. I am so grateful that the Lord is close to the broken hearted and to those who mourn and He does give us a peace that the world cannot give. I know I will have to wait till heaven to meet you (I live in Europe) but you are my sister in Christ and I want to thank you for putting your heart on your sleeve and sharing your life with us. God Bless
I am so so sorry about your mom. I lost my mom to ovarian cancer in February. The pain of how much I miss her is really hard to put into words. I followed yours and Will's journey last year, and I was excited to see this video posted. You did SUCH a nice job with him. Guys, what she didn't mention is how high she placed in this competition, and how stiff that competition was. She got 3rd place only behind 2 incredibly well known and established industry professionals--Bobby Kerr and Dan James. Out of 50 people, many of whom are quite skilled and put forth good performances with their mustangs. That's incredibly impressive.

Julia, thank you. It is very hard to put into words. Finishing this video took forever simply because I wasn't ready to make the introduction until recently. I appreciate your support, and I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. 💙 It's really tough.
I come back to this video regularly for inspiration and always end up in tears. Just so unbelievably impressive and amazing.

Thank you so much for your kind words! Will has touched many hearts. He is so special.
Awesome! Keep going. God just brought me through a trial with breast cancer. He is absolutely faithful.
Just realized in my haste to get this video finished, I left a typo in there. 😑😅😬 (don't look for it.)
I can't tell you how much I love this video❤
Your mother sure instilled great values in you! LOVE is the answer. God bless you and your family. And you are a phenomenal horse trainer.

Beautiful boy, bless him. Great job.❤💪❤
What a wonderful and moving story. Your talents are remarkable. But as hard as it was to let him go you can be proud that he is now the best boy that he can be.
Thanks for sharing this! You did such an amazing job with him! He’s turned out to be such a great horse with all that personality.
Thank you for sharing the journey. Amazing work and effort. I really enjoyed the video. Wish you all the best, keep on the tremendous work!
oh lord tears! amazing work! I literally teared up at that flying change and then of course at the end! Rehoming is so hard but so good.
I do like this video very mucho, congratulations
What a great, inspiring video. I won't lie, my eyes were "sweating" a little at the end. Awesome job!
From gruffy and scared to death to sweet, cooperative and gorgeous. I loved watching the transformation. Wonderful!!!

Thank you for what you do. You are an inspiration.
My mom also passed away from breast cancer. It leaves a horrible hole in your life, but God sometimes brings just the right thing to let you know you have a purpose still and a hope. Thanks for giving Will hope as well.

Love that name so much. And I will be praying for you and your family
Honey, Your story is heartbreaking and at the same time inspiring. I’m so sorry about your mom. We lost our sweet granddaughter right before she turned 7 months old. While she’s in heaven along with your mom, they’re waiting for us to arrive, when the time for us has come. I love knowing that they’re there waiting to show us around. We don’t always know why things happen the way they do but God never makes mistakes. Picking Will and standing by him through the uncertainty shows your determination. I commented before but I watched this again and decided to comment again. Love helped Will grow and helped you heal. You sound like a fine person and I love the methods you use to gain trust from a horse that doesn’t understand humans. I trained horses for years myself before I had a serious neck and back issue. I’m 70 now but you take me back in time in the very best way. God bless you for giving a mustang an opportunity to live in a home where he’s loved so much. Great job!

Janet, thank you for your comment and for sharing your story. I'm so incredibly sorry for the loss of your granddaughter. You are so right though, it's wonderful to know that they are there, waiting for us...and how much happier they must be right now. But it doesn't make the pain of the loss any less. My heart hurts for you. Hugs xx

A beautiful journey! You have amazing skills to get him so far in only 90 days. I’ve been riding my pony for 5 months and she’s not half that far along. Maybe I’ll get farther faster if I watch and follow all your other videos ;)

Lisa, thank you so much for looking us up and watching this video. I appreciate your compliments! And yes, I believe he was definitely an underdog. I had never seen behavior quite to his extreme though, so it was very rewarding to be able to make a friend out of this horse. Will was a special one and had so much to offer. And I have no doubts that you're 100% capable of becoming the person you strive to be. ❤️
How the heck are you so close to him on day 1?!!!!!!! That’s crazy impressive!!!!
Inspirational work and wonderful life lessons. I'd be interested to read people's thoughts on the topic of hackamore rigs. Maybe I'm mistaken, but it looks to me like the trainer here is using a mechanical hackamore. As horse partners, is it realistic for us bypass the bit altogether and start an animal on a cross-under rig with the ultimate goal for horse and rider to work with the traditional bosal? Is it realistic to expect a horse already started and/or matured on a bit rig can be transitioned to a bosal rig? Are spurs unavoidable as a practical matter for training?
So cool my horse is part mustang she is in my last video great job
He's gorgeous
when they were ponying that is a GOOD Horse she dident even care

Thank you! That took a serious amount of nerve for me to get it done on this particular horse. I know I didn't get the technical details of it quite right, but it ended up working out okay for us.
Showww ! Parabéns
beautiful,
I really enjoyed this video so sorry about you mom
Do you plan on doing anymore mustang makeovers miss you guys
OK, wait...you show "Day 1" but you already have the rope halter on. How did you get close enough to put that on?

Absolutely! Dennis Mooreland has some great stuff. I bought the bosalito, romals, mecate etc. at different tack stores across Texas.
He has a beautiful head set for a " working horse" ( I don't like the super low head's, just preference)

Each horse also has their preference. Some prefer to be low, some prefer to be higher.

Gotta agree! I enjoy watching reining competitions except for this one thing. Many or most of those competitors carry their head more like a tracking hound than a horse except for the speed portions. Their performance is spectacular overall, but I've never been able to warm up to that part of it. It just seems so odd. On the other end of the spectrum... I rode a neighbor's Foxtrotter and that high bobbing head was exhausting to look at from the saddle. That just doesn't work for me. But Will was a pleasure to watch. Like a ranch horse, he put his head wherever it needed to be in the moment. When it looks natural, it's just more relaxing and fun to watch, but also exhilarating every moment I'd remind my self this is a mustang with 100 days. Wow!
🤩🤩❤
🙏🏽🙏🏽👍🏽👍🏽
one thing i did just like you once i got my kids trained i gave them away
What is the white writing on him?
@zacharias.horsemanship
3 жыл бұрын
It's a freeze brand from Bureau of Land Management that gives identifying information about him.
There is a gold star next to your name in God's notebook...
😭😭😭
The fact that a wildcaught mustang can stand totally still for a saddle in under ten days after barely being handled its entire life is absolute proof that there is no excuse for farm-bred ranch horses bucking and bolting and losing their minds the first time they're saddled and I will die on that hill. This is what real horsemanship is.
Wow I bought that horse I didnt even realize! I named him roger

No, you didn't. Lying on the internet isn't cool. If you had watched to the end of the video, you'd see that he's owned by a woman named Carol and his name is still "Will".
i will give you lthumbs when you get the blm to do what i say
and also not many horses go to a home that can train like you most go to some stu[id peolple that dont know crap and the horse lives a terrible life;
Really hate it when people stand on their horses.
Awesome.
Can i just say you have such a nice sit trot 🙂 (me inside:🥲 jealous af)
Awesome,
