How do you stop the water after you've filled the pool? Just remove the "pipes"? I have never seen anyone do so as yet and I've watch lots of these builds. Love watching them actually. Such carpenter's and artistic skill these guys show!! Wow!

As nice as those videos are, the whole thing is staged. They don't need to stop filling the pool because the water do not really come from a river. It brought with a citern.

@@dubourg4 you may be right. It would sure overflow if it wasn't stopped somehow. My husband suggested a, oh shoot, what's it called? A drain hole, that's it, somewhere in the pool. Whatever. I've also noticed that a lot of times they have prepared wood and stuff. It's still nice to watch the places being built, even if it's not all "real" primative like it's suppose to be. Most of the ones I watch are pure artistic work! I don't know if they are really doing that or not either. They can always edit and make it look like the people are doing the work. But whoever is the artist is really, really good!

@@sharonjames1255 Yeah, if you consider the video as the end product they're fine. Fun and relaxing to watch. Wich imply any trick and shortcut to create the video is valid, since the construction itself does not matter. Drain hole wouldn't work. You need somewhere to drain the water to. And since they dig out their pool they can't have a drain hole. If they had one, they would show it.

@@dubourg4 I'm sure you are correct about the drain hole. I told my husband I never saw any of them putting one in, so he suggested they just removed the pipes later, after the video was over. Never thought about a cistern being used. They can just turn the water off from the source using a cistern. My Grandma used one for her water supply her entire life, so I actually should have thought of one. Well it's been many years since she passed so maybe I can be excused for not thinking about it!

LOL how primitive can it be with cameras, drones, and YT upload? YOu guys know more about technology than I do.
