100+ Common Medical Terms All English Learners Should Know | Learn Medical Vocabulary

Some of our vocabulary lessons are for fun; others are serious. This is a serious one. Wherever you go, jobs in the medical field are some of the easiest to get for speakers of English as a second language. But you have to make sure you know the terminology-very often, even outside of the English-speaking world, the language of medicine is English, and hospitals in some countries have days of the week when they try to communicate in English as much as possible. So, we've tried to list and read for you some terms for common pieces of medical equipment. It's not a complete list, but it's a good start, and it'll give you a leg up (know that idiom?) in studying for medical exams in English.
