Johnny Forest, bounty hunter, attempts to carry out his mother's dying wish that he bring in his outlaw brother, Clint, alive. On the run from Jurago, a former partner he has crossed, Clint accepts Johnny's help, and agrees to surrender ..... for now.

"Fans of Italian Western will know Gianni Garko (aka Gerry Hudson) as Western Hero Sartana in many of his later movies. The first scene with the wonderful Fernando Sancho will remind you on Sartana but this time Gianni Garko will be another main Character. In "Per 100,000 dollari ti ammazzo" he is Johnny Forest (in some alternate Version round the world Django) a man who was accused to have killed his father by his brother. After years in prison he became a bounty hunter and his brother an outlaw. Johnny Forest chases his brother. The background to the Cain/Abel story is set place during the civil war. There are several interesting scenes including brutality of war and melodramatic sequences. As there are some flashback scenes and some atmospheric scenes in a ghost town. These flashbacks are the highlights of this movie and important for the story of the main characters. Overall the music score is very good but in the flashback scenes a bit too overwhelming.

That was such an interesting and well done Western. The back stories, the music , mists of impending death. Cain and Abel such a sad metaphor in this compelling story of love turned to hate, old wounds never healed, love never realized. They don't make Westerns like this anymore, so thank you for letting me get lost in this age old saga.

This is the best western movie I ever watched.
I love spaghetti westerns there better then what we got now even w/Clint Eastwood some of his movies 🍿🥤🍿🥤 a lot of actors have passed away now that did western in the good ol days
A very good story and well paced film. This was one of the better made westerns, and an ending with a sorrowful note.
I love all the western, always remind of my cousins thoses days in 1960's n 70's at hohola picture theaters.
I SIMPLY ADORED THE OLD SHERIFF! I WAS SO SAD WHEN HE GOT SHOT! ALL OF THE ACTORS IN THIS MOVIE WERE GUILTY OF FANTASTIC ACTING! WOW! WHAT A MOVIE!!!

I cried !
Almost the same cast from 10,000 $ for a massacre from the protagonist to the antagonist to a very similar title. I like these old timey westerns anyhow.

my good friend the gang leader ( in many other movies) only had a bit part in the beginning and took it on the chin. At least the director didn't zoom in and out and drive me nuts doing it over and over during gunfights. I wonder who mysteriously picks up the bodies in town. Another star for Grjngo..
