* 재사용 필터를 씻기 위해 물 사용량이 발생하는 것 관련해서, 고민을 했어요. 일회용품을 사용하면서 물을 덜 사용하는 것이 나을지 아니면 재사용 필터를 사용하면서 설거지 물을 더 사용하는 것이 나을지 무엇이 더 환경적일지 주변에 도 물어보기도 했습니다. 결론적으로, 쓰레기를 줄이기 위해 재사용 필터를 사용하면서 물도 아껴쓰는 것이 맞겠다는 생각이 들었습니다. 물은 결국 하수구로 흘러 들어가서 재활용이 되지만 쓰레기는 결국 재활용 되지 않고 소각되어 탈 수밖에 없다는 생각을 하니 물을 아끼면서 재사용 필터를 사용하자는 생각이 들었어요. 두마리 토끼를 다 잡는 건 어려울 수 있겠지만 밸런스를 맞추면서 노력하는 건 가능하겠다는 생각이 들었어요. 그리고 드립커피를 내리는 빈도를 줄여나가는 것도 좋을 것 같아요. 요즘처럼 더운 여름에는, 오늘 드립커피를 충분히 내려서 마실 만큼 마시고 남은 커피는 냉장고에 보관했다가 내일 마셔도 되니까요. 그러면 물도 절약할 수 있겠다는 생각이 들었습니다. 무엇이든 완벽한 건 없지만 계속 더 나은 방법을 찾고 실천하는 것이 중요한 것 같아요. 이번 영상에서도 댓글을 통해서 더 나은 방법을 배우게 되고 찾게되는 것 같아요. 감사합니다! * For using water to wash the reusable filters, I wondered which one would be a good way: Using the disposables to reduce the use of water or using the reusable filters to reduce disposables. @주세영 제가 알기로는 플라스틱으로 만든 티백 껍질(?)이라고 해야할까요 겉면에서 미세플라스틱이 우수수수수 떨어진다고 알고 있는데 그걸 물에 우리면..... 116억개의 미세플라스틱을 마시는 거겠구나 하는 생각이 들더라구요. 이 사실을 알고 나서 집안을 살펴보니 이미 갖고 있는 티백차는 너무 많고 이걸 그렇다고 그냥 버리기엔 아깝고 불필요한 쓰레기만 만드는 것 같고 ㅠㅠ 그래서 생각한 방법이 껍질은 벗기고 안에 있는 잎차만 유리병에 담아서 다른 망(스텐망 등)에 우려서 마시자였습니다. 이것도 완벽하진 않을 수 있어요 껍질을 벗기는 과정에서 미세플라스틱이 또 우수수수 떨어졌겠죠? 그래도 뜨거운 물에 퐁당 담궈서 함께 마시는 것보다는 낫겠다는 생각으로 했어요 ㅎㅎ 무엇이든 완벽한 건 없지만 계속 더 나은 방법을 찾고 실천하는 것이 중요한 것 같아요. 댓글 통해서 더 나은 방법을 배우게 되고 찾게되는 것 같아요. 감사합니다!

@@onul the problem is after taking the tea leaves out, what happens to the empty bags, however they are disposed of, they are getting into the oceans, all sealife is now full of microplastics, our own DNA is being changed because of them. It's better to write to the manufacturer and tell them that you will no longer buy their tea bags until they make them of paper, and explain why you won't use their microplastic ones. If we all did that, they would get the idea and things might get better.

It's so nice to see that many families like yours are very responsible about the a waste management and about sustainable living just makes me so motivated and become more responsible towards our mother earth .Thank you for the video and also it was soo calming.😃😃💕💕

고체치약은 거품이 일반 치약처럼 풍성하지 않아서 호불호가 많이 갈릴 것 같아요. 잘게 씹어야 하는 점도 불편할 수 있겠지만 아직까지는 잘 사용하고 있습니다. 린스바는 정말 정말 강추합니다. 하나 사면 몇달은 써요! 열심히 사용해도 줄지 않는 마법같은 비누에요 ㅎㅎㅎ 샴푸바는 금방 교체하게 되는데 린스바는 샴푸바 두세개 사용할 동안도 끄떡 없네요. 소프넛 세제도 역시나 호불호 많이 갈릴 것 같아요. 일반 수세미보다는 물을 더 쓰는 느낌이 들긴 하지만, 그래도 수세미로 닿기 힘든 텀블러 등 세척할 때 유용하게 쓰고 있어요 :) 개인적으로 메인 설거지는 역시나 설거지바가 최고인 것 같습니다! ㅎㅎ

역시 오늘도 많이 배우고 갑니다👍 가끔씩 주변사람들의 눈치를 많이 봐서 그런가 내가 너무 유난인가 싶을 때 영상 보면서 어느덧 오늘님 마음을 다잡아요!! 좀 유난이면 어때! 하나씩 실천하는 제가 너무 대견해요ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 불편한점이 많지만 그보다 더 행복해서 즐겁게 실천하고있습니다~~ 어느덧 오늘님도 항상 행복하세요💕

리튼바이엔님 오랜만이에요 반갑습니다 :) 소창 필터는 사용하고 나서 관리하는게 스텐필터보다는 조금 수고로워요 ㅎㅎ 그래서 저도 요즘엔 주로 스텐 필터를 많이 사용합니다. 재사용 필터 모두 커피 찌꺼기를 완벽하게 제거하는게 살짝 힘들긴 하지만 그래도 쓸만한 것 같아요. 리튼바이엔님 댓글 감사드리고 오늘도 좋은 하루 되세요 😄🧡

안녕하세요 댓글 감사합니다. 다른 분들 댓글 읽으면서 소프넛을 사용할 때의 탄소 배출량에 대해서도 생각하게 되었는데요. 한국에서는 소프넛 나무가 남부 일부에서만 있고 많지 않아서 대부분의 소프넛을 수입하는 상황이라 탄소 배출량을 생각한다면 사용을 줄여야겠다는 생각이 들었습니다. (역시 천연세제는 설거지바가 최고일까요?ㅎㅎ) 소프넛 세제를 만들기 위해 물을 더 많이 사용하게 되기도 하구요 ㅎㅎ 그래도 화학 계면활성제 없이 천연으로 돌아가는 제품이라서 대안 중의 하나로서는 추천할 만하다고 생각합니다. 오늘도 좋은 하루 되세요!

Relating to your concern on what is better, to use disposables so no washing or to use reusable and washing. there is another factor you may not have considered and is the process of making those disposables, it of course involves a bunch of water plus many other non renewable resources that then can't be degraded naturally, but when you think in a cotton made product two things can happen: rather you bought your cotton product from an organic cotton farm that even if it uses water during the making it will not be a problem when throwing it away or you get your product from a random farm. it is important to know that cotton is one of the harvest that needs the most of chemicals for it to not mess up so it could be having a really harmful effect on water. The best option is always reusable, organical and with no issues to decompose in its afterlife (also another important factor is that the product is made with fairly treated people gaining a fair wage).

Hello, L155 :) I really appreciate your comment. It really gives me lots of thoughts. As you mention, the best option is to reuse, and use the organical one and no issue to decompose in its afterlife, I totally agree. In that point, I should check my purchasing habits since sometimes I think that even if it is zero waste item or eco products, is it really good to buy new items every time? Maybe it is time to recycle, reuse and reuse again :) Oh, but when I need to buy new one, I should buy new but I should check more things than before. (As you mention, fair trade, etc...) I'm from Vietnam, and when I ask my grandparents, they say they use rice water, or soapnut water, or hot water to wash the dishes. I have been using rice water for some time now, and it works fine with traditional Vietnamese dishes (have little oil). The overuse of strong dishwashing soap can be harmful to the stomach as the residues on dishes can enter our bodies along with food. Besides, oil from cooking should be collected in a bottle or cooled and poured in the bin, not in the basin, to prevent oil solidifying and clogging up. I hope you can make a video on how to treat used oil in Korean household!😍🥰Thank you!

Here in Brazil we use a utensil called a coffee straining cloth (pano para coar café) it is a cloth sewn with small wooden sticks on each side to hold the cloth while pouring the coffee.

There are biodegradable filters You can put with the compost. With coton filters you have to wash them and waste a lot of water.

Hola Onul, me encanta tú canal. La nueces de lavado me encantan pero la huella de carbono es demasiado alta para mí que vivo en España. Otro uso de los posos del café que yo practico es utilizarlo para que absorba el aceite/grasa de las sartenes en vez de usar papel de cocina, luego limpias normalmente la sartén y el aceite no va al agua, y el café lo tiro con los desperdicios orgánicos... Hola Silvia 60 :) Gracias por tu comentario que me hace pensar en la huella de carbono de las nueces de jabón. En Corea, no hay muchos árboles de nuez de jabón. (Solo unos pocos en el área sur) Entonces, al considerar la huella de carbono, debería minimizar el uso de nueces de jabón. Y gracias por tus consejos sobre los posos de café para absorber el aceite. Es un buen consejo. Realmente aprecio toda tu información. Es bueno hablar contigo. ¡Que tenga un buen día!

@@onul Hola 🤗🧡💐 Saludos 🤩 que te diré de mi vida zero waste; hago lo que puedo, reutilizo, reciclo e incluso en mi ciudad pagan por lo reciclado: cartón papel, metal y plástico; menos el vidrio eso lo depósito en el supermercado que hago las compras mensuales; ya compré cepillos de dientes de bambú la marca Colgate. Y cuando vaya de compras al lugar donde venden al granel, preguntaré por pasta en polvo y shampoo en barra; ahí vamos cambiando mi Onul nuestro estilo de vida poco a poco 🤩🌷👍; cuidando nuestra salud 🥰🧡 y cuidando el planeta 🌍🌎🌏

За капково кафе, въпреки че трябва да използвам повече вода за измиване на филтъра за многократна употреба, водата се влива в канализацията и циркулира, така че съм сигурен, че използването на филтър за многократна употреба е достойно. И използването на машина изглежда по-добре! Можете да спестите енергията си и не е нужно да купувате еднократни филтри :) Искам някой ден да си купя кафе машина. (Но няма къде да го поставите у дома.) Благодаря ви за коментара. Приятен ден: D

Hello, Aaliya Fatima :) You are right. We all should minimize the use of water because water is also a valuable resource. I have watched this video again, and I felt that I use lots of water to wash the reusable filters and I wondered which one would be a good way: Using the disposables to reduce the use of water or using the reusable filters to reduce disposables. After much deliberation, I have come to a conclusion that I can reduce the use of water while using the reusable filters. Water can go down the sewer and it can be recycled. On the other hand, disposables eventually will be incinerated. Comparing this, I should find the balance between this. That is to use the reusable ones while trying to use less water. I'm from Turkey and I use muslin tea bags like that coffee filter. Or maybe you can find metal filter for tea.

Je pense que oui. Chaque fois que je lave la vaisselle avec laquelle j'avais l'habitude de mélanger les œufs, je n'ai pas senti que l'odeur des œufs était trop forte. C'était pas mal. :) Merci pour votre commentaire. Passe une bonne journée!

Hello, Tina :) From my experience, it was difficult to reuse paper filter since the water does not filter well the more I use it. So I have used 2 reusable filters and for the cotton filter, the one thing I am worried is that I should use lots of water to wash it. However, for stainless steel filter, I can wash it with other dishes and I don't need to boil it so I am satisfied with stainless one. It seems that no product is perfect. I think balance is important. Whether you use a paper filter or a reusable filter, I believe that drinking only the right amount and what you need will reduce energy consumption and reduce waste

Then what did you do with empty teabags? Out of sight out of mind? When I was a child in UK there were no teabags. And used tealeaves put on garden soil. The trouble with modern eco awareness is that folk still want to use appliances, make-up etc....that aren't necessary at all. And what happens to the plastic things you get rid of?Out of sight out of mind?

When I was not aware the fact that the teabags can be harmful not only to my health but also to the environment, I usually used to drink teabags. Since I did not know. And when I know that, there are already so many teabags at my home. I cannot get rid of them just because they are teabags but at least I can use tea leaves by taking out from the teabags not to drink many microplastics. I should throw the teabags without tea leaves since I cannot recycle them. But what important is that what I should do next time. Not buying teabags (but sometimes I get gifts) is what I can do after knowing the fact.

소창필터는 처음에 삶을 때 물이 많이 쓰게 되요. (소프넛 물을 다른 그릇 세척하는데 쓸 수 있긴 해도...) 그래서 저는 개인적으로 소창필터보다는 스텐필터가 더 편하고 물사용도 적은 것 같아서 낫다고 생각합니다. 둘 다 사용 후 물을 쓰게되긴 하지만, 스텐 필터는 다른 용기 설거지할 때 같이 설거지할 수 있어서 낫더라구요. 미세 커피가루도 별로 느껴지지 않구요. 일회용을 쓰지 않기 위해 물을 더 사용하는 것과 그냥 일회용을 사용하는 것과 무엇이 더 환경에 좋을지는 고민이 필요해 보이긴 합니다. 새로운 고민을 하게 하는 댓글 감사합니다!
