@beckyc.5743 Hello, I am on my mom's account. On behalf of her, we both agree that vitamin D3 played a major part in improving our nails. During Covid our primary care physician advised taking D3, 2,000 iu per day to increase our immunity. For mom especially, her nails seemed to grow faster and the lines began to grow out. I also feel that the use of the surgical gloves may have helped. Possibly water was part of the problem. Thank you for posting your experience.

MaryEllen, I am glad you are still here! The most helpful thing I have learned from you is to apply my retinol product to my brow bone. Eventually, I started applying it to the inner corners of my eyelids, too. I believe that your tip is why my eyelids look as good as they do at age 70, and I thank you for sharing it.

I can think of several things that you recommended that I have bought or tried that have been helpful, one that comes to mind is the measuring spoons that have both liquid on one side and dry measurement on the other. Hi MaryEllen! Happy 10th anniversary!!! I used to have gel nails done when I worked. Since retirement I file them myself. I only polish them on special occasions. They are much harder and healthier now. You always amaze me with the deals you find! I like Merit cosmetics. Your lipstick looks nice and glad to hear the lipstick wears well. You are so generous and kind to do a giveaway. I’m glad to hear Jim is ok (except stenosis) and has decided to have the fistula surgery. About the stenosis, having surgery is a BIG decision. I am doing ok. Good days, most of the time. However, I still am only able to walk short distances without having pain and walking bending over. For instance, we’ve tried walking the dogs around the block,. I do ok the first half, but I poop out the second half and walk bent over. I barely make it home. I am better just can’t do what I used to do. I seldom use my cane anymore. I went shopping with my daughter recently and used my cane because I knew we were going to be walking more than I am used to. The surgery has to be Jim’s decision. If he is in a lot of pain, I’d say the surgery will help. However, he may have limits on what he can do. Yet he may not. I was walking using a cane right out of the hospital. From not feeling my feet on the floor the first time they got me on my feet in the hospital to walking with a cane was a miracle. I had fabulous nurses. One thing for sure, Jim will have a sharp, fantastic, and caring nurse right at home. Prayers for Jim. My best and love to you, Teresa (I used the microphone to dictate this. I tried to correct all the mistakes.) ❤

To this day, as much as I love roses, I can't stand the smell of them indoors. But I enjoy them when they're planted outside. Glisten and Glow topcoat is awesome and very fast drying. It dries so fast and leaves your nails so shiny. You have to order it online. I’ve had my bottle for a couple of years (or more) and it hasn’t dried up the least bit.

Congratulations on your Ten-Year KZread Anniversary, MaryEllen! I'm absolute certain that I've bought products on your helpful recommendations, but I can't remember them at the moment. I'm glad Jim is getting the medical help that he needs. I also have spinal stenosis. I believe the answer to mobility issues is exercise, so I'll give Jim the advice that I need to get back to myself, as I've lapsed, and my mobility has deteriorated. PBS has an exercise show on in the morning called Classical Stretch. It's challenging, but a very doable 20 minutes a day. The instructor, Miranda Esmonde-White, is our age, and she talks you through the show.

MaryEllen, I admire you so much. Ten years is a great accomplishment and no doubt a lot of hard work! You've certainly been more then helpful to soooo many here, myself included.
