Seriously, the Onewheel has been so good for me physically and mentally I am in love but it’s like having a really nice day but remembering your step dad is waiting for you at home and he’s gonna beat you for buying his board. The attitude in our local Onewheel community (which is sizable) is “f*******k I have to deal with FM” and someone steps in and suggests a reputable PEV shop and they sigh with relief. FM consumer policies sound like they’re written by a guy who you KNOW you shouldn’t have lent your money too but says he’s good for it. I feel like they should just sell their accessories and even Onewheels out of reputable shops since after 10 years they’re still afraid to take a return. I think they’re afraid to lose money by being good to their customers but now most of them want nothing to do with them after they get the board.

I remember when i got mine when i was thirteen, it was a pint and i remember begging my mom everyday to get a Onewheel and i finally ended up getting one. it was actually a life changer, it would help my mom out so much, she didn't have to take me to so much places. the drive from school was 30mins each day and my mom ended up always being late to work now there's no worry. Thank you One wheel ❤

It really is something else. I got a PintX two years ago and I ride whenever possible. People on the street are always amazed by it too. Congrats on the 10 years, looking forward to what you bring next :)

Congratulations on 10 years Onewheel! I am so proud of being a Onewheel Rider here in Iowa! I dont know where I would be in life mentally right now if it wasnt for Onewheel! There is no better feeling in the world than riding on my GT. Thank you Kyle and team for making the world a better place!

Great stuff guys.... At 56 years old, i got the Pint, then upgraded to the XR and now the GT... I'm now 4 years into riding.. I love every ride and have done over 7,000 km's in total and never fails to put a smile on my dial!.... Thank you every much! :)

OW GT was my first and 2 years later I still LOVE this thing. Bought a Pint X to live in the frunk of my car for charging sessions. Give me a GTS with more range and I’ll add a third one to the fleet!

Living the dream!

Changed my life. Literally switched careers because of it.

It truly can open your eyes to seeing differently. It’s certainly fun but there are so many layers beyond that. For me, it slows the pace of life and allows me to really feel the moment. That is special and so worthwhile.

This moved me so much. I've been saving up for a Onewheel for so long I can't wait to ride it!

Thank you OneWheel!!! My first board was the GT, then won a GTS from Craft&Ride but the main reason I bought it was for something to clear my head after a long day… and that did not disappoint. The product has been a life saver for my mental health, and the community is amazing!!! Looking forward for what’s ahead for OneWheel, and definitely the future it rad 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

I got my first taste of Onewheels while filming on location in Atlanta and I immediately bought a Pint X. Fantastic movie to celebrate 10 years of the most fantastic invention in personal mobility and so much more. Loved every second of it. So glad to be a part of it and of one of the best communities around, which despite its meanwhile enormous size, somehow always feels like family. As a Belgian passionate about snowboarding, it's always been such a frustration to have to drive 9 hours to the alps to ride a bit. Then wakeboarding offered some level of relief. And then Onewheel changed my life. Riding every day from the front door. Thank you for changing the world, Onewheel! Cheers to many more years of floating.

Now the only difference between Onewheel and board sports is your patent being locked down. Your move, FM. If you want to see this grow, you have to let it grow.

I will admit that Kyle is developing and advancing much faster than Henry Ford did. If I'm not mistaken, from 1903-1920 (17 years), the Model T didn't change much because of the limited competition. The OneWheel has changed drastically in 10 years. That being said, if we do not allow competition in this arena, we will not see the level of innovation we would experience if we had adequate competition. This is the reason the MADDEN NFL FOOTBALL franchise hasn't innovated much since EA Sports "unalived" NFL2K5. All because they sold a better game for $20 less. (You heard that right!) Those that don't know history are doomed to repeat it.

@@CayoticProphet yeah, at the end of the day, opening up onewheel and putting the patents in public domain would create a huge market which is required for mass adoption. Onewheel would be a competitor (with a huge head start, mind you), and you’d have other brands with similar products tailored to different purposes. Take skateboarding for example (A great example because onewheel and one of the major skateboard suppliers - NHS are both from Santa Cruz), skateboarding would have never been able to enter the mass adoption phase with just one brand making them. Any hobby, board sport, market, industry, surrounds many businesses creating products (RC cars, skateboards, automotive, surfing, etc). If onewheel wants any of the above, they need to open up the market.

Such a great product. Just a shame FM has made so many customers hate them. I didn’t really understand why people hated them so much until I couldn’t do something as simple as swapping a battery between two of the exact same board models and versions. That’s when I understood why.

I first rode a onewheel in 2022 while visiting a friend and immediately was obsessed - fast forward 2 years and I now own a plus. I didn't realize exactly how early on the board was made, but starting off this late with something from another era feels right in a way 🙂

What a great video showing the initial start and progression all the way to present day. First time I saw someone riding a OW down the street I was blown away and just knew I needed to have my own one day. Was probably 2 years later when they launched the GT that finally got me off the fence. Haven't looked back and bring it to all sorts of life events like camping to crusing around downtown with friends. Seeing peoples eyes light up when I ride by from 2 years old all the way to 90 is unlike anything else I've experienced. Truely a life altering invention. Happy to be a part of the OW lifestyle.

You created a wonderful thing that has hugely improved my life and lives of so many. What a monumental accomplishment. You deserve every success. Thank you, FM! ❤

Seeing this background and the risk Kyle took reminds me why he has the patent. Did someone create this before Kyle? Yeah. Did that person have the follow through and perseverance to make it into a company? Nope. Keep doing your thing FM, you’ve continued to better my life every day!

@@Thyhack. Ben has a similar design to what the first prototype looks like. Ben’s was belt driven and Kyle’s chain driven, enough change to consider Ben’s not the same as Kyle’s. Ben could have filled patents and licensed the designs out to anyone, he didn’t. Kyle saw a business opportunity and made it flourish, wish I could do the same.

There was also the instructable describing how to build one in like 2008. If you're familiar with the diy scene changing from belt to chain isn't designing a whole different board. I commend them bringing it to market but, I can't ignore the outright lies of inventing the onewheel and future motions horrible business practices trying to bankrupt everyone in the community.

@@thirtythreeeyes8624 you’re getting caught up on marketing language. They did invent the first Onewheel. That is a brand name, future motion invented the Onewheel. No where have they ever claimed to invent the first self balancing single wheeled skateboard. Unfortunately consumers don’t understand the difference, as the community has adopted the term Onewheel to be synonymous with any single wheeled electric board made by whoever.

This video makes me a little sad. It reminds me why I jumped in with both feet, but the last couple years have pushed me away. I’m optimistic others will pick up torch and keep us all floating for years to come.

I guess I’ve been around for 3 1/2 years…and loving it!

As an owner of 3 OW’s, it would be so wonderful if Future Motion was as wholesome and down to earth as this video portrays them. They treat objects like women, man. Eventually FM will be surpassed by other companies making equipment for our sport. The sport Kyle started is much more than just future motion and will continue without them.

This is the sickest of the sickest vid of Onewheel I’ve seen, seeing the progress. I remember seeing a onewheel by the car dealership I used to work at in 2015 and I thought it was awesome. But back I didn’t have funds to purchase one. So I always wondered what it was like to have one, till I bought one back in 2021! And it’s been such a thrill !!! Keep the stoke going ONEWHEEL!! Just got my first one wheel a few weeks ago. Been wanting one for a while but it wasn’t until I tried a friends that I was sold. Now I have my GT in the car wherever I go and look forward to riding whenever possible! Reminds me of skateboarding but in a unique rad experience! Highly recommend trying it out, respect the limits of the board and you’ll have a blast. Happy floating!

Had a pint x for about 8 months and just bought an XR. The stoke is so real. My only complaint is the removal of nRF connect with the newest update. A bit of a shame to remove the modification ability at the customers risk. All being said, a onewheel is something that will always be a part of my life!
