@@jacoblyalls4026 Yes this is absolutely a joke, Just a general rule of thumb, unless an electronic is listed as water PROOF, then never put it near water. even "Water Resistant" electronics are a gimmick and should never be deliberately put in water, i've seen alot of products claim they are resistant to water, only for them to fail and break on contact with a slight splash or very shallow dip. I see how you could be confused by my joke though because Some computers are Water cooled, Both the GPU and CPU can utilize water cooling. But the water never comes into contact with the electronics. where the stupid remark i made about dipping it into water directly would more than likely break it. unless you manage to completely dry it off before plugging it back in.

I've gotta hand it to Linus........ his narrating skills are off the charts. Folks don't realize this, but, if Linus were to narrate in his normal speech pattern, a lot of what he's saying would go in one ear, and out the other. However, he's developed some whacky way of narrating that ensures even the most illiterate comprehend what he's saying, and remember it.

Best bang for the buck card in history I'm. It did as much as the GTX for about less than half the price. I still have my evga 8800GT. It has a lifetime warranty and if I'm ever in need of something I bust it out. I've RMAd it twice the most recent time about two years ago and they STILL HONOR THE WARRANTY. Which is why I always go evga if I get a Nvidia card. Can't top that customer service. RMAing a 10 year old card still no issues.

GhostInforno45 because the 690 was two neutered 680's on one card, not a single GPU, or else they would have had to do all the other dual gpu cards, not to mention that because it was air cooled the 690 ran like a furnace and performance much worse than 680's in sli, their next and last attempt at dual gpu was the Titan Z at $3000 which was a massive fail, the $1500 295x2 was 35-25% faster at half the price

Titans are kind of their own weird entity. I think they just wanted to compare the main GPU (or two) from each generation. Otherwise if you included them, then why not the 970 and 1050Ti and so on and the video ends up being an hour long.

Titans are the big "F*** u" to your face cards. Nvidia purposely gimp the new gen flagship cards with mid-tier GPU chips. I.E as seen on Linus's explanation on the GTX 680(GK104) at 8:03 . They use the flagship GPU chips(Gx100s or the 102) on the Titan, as "Nvidia felt we don't need such a big jump on a new gen so we will milk you becos we can!"

I think the original titan was good value. the fastest single card solution at the time was a 680 which is getting on the slow side of todays cards. the titan was the same speed as a 780 but with 6gb. so if you got the titan when it came out you'd still have a card that could play modern titles 'ok'. this gives it has a longer life span before it needs to be upgraded. at least thats how I view good value

It was nice to see all these old cards. Some were pretty familiar. I had a 560TI, a 690, a 780TI, a 980TI and then I switched to AMD. My I bought the 690 with the launch of BF4 I believe and I was so disappointed in all the Micro Stuttering, that I bought a EVG 780TI Kingpin a couple of weeks later. The 980TI was still used up until the end of Nov this year. My first AMD Card in a long, long time. I had almost 2 decades ago a X700, a X800GTO² and a X1600XT before switching to a 8800GT.
