I have enjoyed their music since the first album. I found them when I was in the Navy and alot of what they said resinated with me. They need more credit as a band.

Riku never wanted to be like Sora, It was always the other way around, and after the island neither wanted to be like each other. they were both strong enough on their own. Falling into someone's eyes really does match the ethereal level the KH series was on though.
