CM Punk - Punk has said he broke his foot diving into the crowd immediately prior to his match with FTR, and then wrestling the match on the broken foot is what did the worst damage to it. Also worth mentioning that even if there was no fight at All Out 2022, he would have had to relinquish the belt anyway because he fucked up his tricep in the match with Moxley and he had to go into rehab for it

@@TheMargateMan have you seen how many matches he's lost? Dolph is only around to put people over and he's happy with that. His time was up a long time ago and let's be honest, the last time DZ was truly relevant, was the last time he was world champion, which was now almost 10 years ago. Maybe the United States or Intercontinental, hell maybe even the NXT Championship again but definitely not the world title. That's about as likely as CM Punk returning to WWE which at this point seems more likely.

Poor Batista with the injury bug when he was supposed to have a run with a championship and to broke the camel's back, the 2014, althought he wasn't injured, he returned and booked at the wrong time and was supposed to hold the gold at Mania 30 and unfortuntaely, it was out of his elements and did not deserver the boos that he received that time. Also came here first before Shawn Michaels commenting something in a wrestling channel's new uploads.

I would've but Steve Austin in 97 when he broke his neck. Just imagine the IC reign had he not broken it and a possible lengthy career. Also imagine the 5 star bangers he could've had in the 2000's with the likes of Eddie Guerrero, Krispen Wah, Kurt Angle and Triple H. Bro altered his wrestling style so he didn't have to worry about his neck too much yet still managed to pull damn near 5 star classics. That Monday Night RAW match with Krispen Wah is still considered one of the best Raw matches of all time

Not WWE, but honorable mention to Masahiro Chono. 20 years in wrestling multiple cracks at the IWGP heavyweight title after winning a record number of G1s. And when he finally wins wrestling's most prestigious belt, he has to vacate it less than a month later thanks to the neck Stone Cold broke a decade prior.

CM Punk broke his foot diving into the crowd and has admitted as much in several interviews since then so not sure why "either during the Double or Nothing main event or the 6 man tag match he took part in a few days later" is being posited there? As he said, he banged it on the guard rail during his entrance diving into the crowd and "pulverised" the bone from doing the match on the injury he'd gave himself.
