Nicely done. I like the "David Gray" way to do it. I haven't ever thought of the double-layer beanie. I will use that in the winter. Awesome video, as always. Crow

This video came to me right on time my brother! I picked up my first tube bandanna neck buff or whatever it’s called 😂 I couldn’t believe there were so many ways to wear these things. And I think you’re right, I definitely can jump higher when it’s in headband form 🙌🏽

I use a thin merino wool version in the winter with my everyday, non-hiking coat. It is mainly a scarf (neck gaiter), but can quickly adapt to a beanie or hood if needed.

I like the "David Gray", but I think my go to is the same as yours. I don't call it the pirate, because there is another one that reminds me more of a pirate. My friends call me "Kip" when I have it like that, from Napoleon Dynamite. 😆 We can call it the "Frozen", since he was the first person I saw do use it consistently.

what i do. fold gaither in half, print side out. line up edges. then inside gather three layers, makes like a pocket. you will need to hold these three pieces firmly, place thumbs opposite sides inside pocket. place these three layers over back of head. single layer slides over forehead.. make a band on bottom edge and arrange material to form shape of head. hide excess material behind band to make a nice look. you will see this hide technique when making biker bandanas or desert scarves.

Do you wear a cap as well, Jeremiah? I Plan on using a buff on my hike mainly because Covid restrictions here still require face coverings. Not so sure I’d replace my cap with it though.
