Hi, two days ago I went through my wardrobe and removed everything I don't regularly wear (3 grocery bags!) and while I was dropping them off at the thrift store I wandered in (always a dangerous move!) and I can't believe that I found a 100% linen pale blue shirt in my size, so I grabbed it and it is now hanging in my wardrobe. Also, with thanks to your advice today I'm wearing a white button down shirt with a black knitted vest over the top of it and a black duster coat (for when I go outside) with my white shirt collar pulled up over the duster collar and a pair of Doc Marten Chelsea style boots...BAM, it looked good with thanks to you for inspiring me to jazz up my wardrobe! Thank you again, I can't wait for your next video. EDIT. For those wondering, I did have a pair of black pants on too! :D

I have a lovely collection of oversized shirts. They are all natural fabrics and beautiful quality from the men's department at the Goodwill. I wear them tucked or half tucked with structured bottoms. Untucked and free flowing over slim fitting bottoms or as an over shirt with a slim tee and flowy linen pants.

I loved the looks you shared in the video. I was able to find many similar styles and silhouettes in my own closet without having to go buy something to compensate. Thank you for the ideas!

Hallo, best linnen shirt styles, I love it and will try it. Now it is summer in Germany and best time to wear a linnen shirt. All looks are super and the fact that the shirt needs not zu be tucked completely looks so good!!!!

Love all the looks! My favorites are with the white shirt with navy tailored trousers and the all white look. I find that I use my white linen shirt as an overshirt a lot during the summer months. It's very hot where I live in Northern California but of course cold and air conditioned in stores and restaurants so I keep my shirt on hand for warmth and also it serves as protection from the sun when outside or driving! I love midi skirts and dresses, and also knit dresses, but it’s hard to find them without polyester in them. I have a few silk jersey ones, the ultimate in comfort and super flattering, but they are few and far between in the shops. In the summer, my around-the-house wear is a viscose knit dress, they’re very cool and breezy. I would love to hear a list of good-quality brands for these, inexpensive fast-fashion, thin-fabric ones tend to be limp and frumpy. I don’t mind a little spandex, but don’t like them too elasticky 🙂

I can see, we both love the midi length. It’s not easy to find a good fabric composition in a good price. My knitted dress is a 100% cotton and I feel I was very lucky to find it a few years ago because I haven’t seen anything like it since. Btw a viscose knitted dress sounds really cool👍

Hello and thank you so much for your comment. It’s gonna be hard to list all my jewellery because it’s such a mix. Some of it is from small local gold shops in Poland, Turkey and Croatia (btw highly recommend buying your gold and silver on holiday because it’s usually much cheaper) and some of it is from the high street shops, like silver chunky chain from Mango and my statement earrings from H&M and TK Maxx (not this season). With a big jewellery we can’t go for a real metal due to the price so check out the shops I mentioned and look for pieces that look expensive and classic. xxx🫶

Hello Marina, The pants are from COS last year. I put it in the description box and call them samurai trousers. They have a similar pair but in navy this year - just write “chinos” in a search box.

Just my cup of tea, I don’t wear bluejeans either, I find them very uncomfortable and can’t get a decent fit. I’m 62 and literally never found a pair I liked, so two years ago I stopped wasting so much time and money on them. I do have a pair of jeans in white, which color I think looks more polished, but rarely wear them, they’re too uncomfortable in the waist, but the next size up just falls off, even with a belt.

Hello Rinku. If youre asking about a little bit of see through in a linen shirt, I would say that’s normal (especially with white linen) and it’s one of the beautiful qualities of this material. But remember that, just like with every other material, you can get high and poor quality linen. The thicker and heavier will always be more expensive and less see through. It will also crinkle less and hang nicely on your body. I hope that helps😊

I enjoyed this video, but have two “production quality” improvements to suggest: use a good clip-on microphone, and move the camera much closer, for the talking-only portions of the videos. There are so many different English accents around the world that a microphone can really help those who are used to different accents to understand you. Your English is excellent, though! Visually, there’s a lot of white wall in view and very little of you. Thanks for considering my input🙂

The sound is also very echo-y, adding soft furnishings helps this a lot. They don’t necessarily have to be in view of the camera, just in the room.
