Right, cause they only had one song. That’s ridiculous. You will find a lot of alternate picked 16th note power chords in the misfits, and punk in general. The high tempos makes tremolo picking essential

if i play the "full beat" (sticking with the drums), yes! Otherwise, downstrokes usually. But it depends on the tempo, really!

The beautiful thing with punk is you should just play things how you want to play them. It's all about getting your ideas out into the world, rather than focusing on the details. That's what metal is for!
