    Caveman from an obstacle is one of the coolest ways in my book.. i used to to those by running to a wall, , put my backfoot to it, and push of quite high. it is also a great way to practice landing your board when rolling of, or ollieing of higher obstacles.. i also "incorporated" this in a "no comply"by rolling to a wall, taking of my front foot, grabbing my board and putting my backfoot up the wall.. when done right, it is a cool trick

    Great video man, very useful for my cousin who is learning to skate, and thank you for that mall grab comment. I've been skating for years and I always mall grab. To all the beginners, don't listen to other skaters who say it is wrong to mall grab and that only posers do it. That's bull. I find mall grabbing very convenient, especially if I have to walk through a crowd or tight spaces. It keeps your board close to your body and you have less chances of hitting something or someone with your board while walking by. Not to mention, the trucks are much more comfortable to hold than just the board. The mall grab isn't a poser hold, it's a common sense hold. From my experience, The only "posers" I have seen are the skaters who judge others by how they skate or hold their board. Real skaters have never said anything to me about "mall grabbing" because they know they do it too.

  • @geistov7075

    @geistov7075

    Yeah mall grabbing is real soft on your thumbs too. If you grab your board by the nose constantly you're going to feel it on your thumb, and that's not fun.

  • @darkwriter_xx94

    @darkwriter_xx94

    What I do is not technically a mall grab but I just carry it against my side like normal but let the weight of the trucks/wheels rest on my forearm. Your arm will get dirty though.

  • @MarqueeliusThe_III

    @MarqueeliusThe_III

    Жыл бұрын

    I would recommend practicing with your non-dominant hand. Or you could awkwardly (not really) jump to the side while doing a running start so that you can get on your board in regular stance. Also dang man 3 years and no response? I’m sure you’ve already came up with a solution to this problem. Anyways, hope your progression is going well.
