Hey man, You do a great job in presenting simple, yet non-obvious solutions to everyday fashion screw ups. I particularly enjoyed the tip on how to fold a button down in the back before tucking in. I used to NEVER tuck those in unless accompanied by a suit and tie cuz I got that extreme V shape torso. Now, I can actually show off that slim waist and broad shoulders by using that fold technique. And yeah. People not wearing watches??? Please!

I came here for tip no. 2 and you solved my problem. I use to pull out my shirt a bit all side and I was creating a wrong impression. But now, through your video, I learned how to fold in the excess loose shirt and make it look good. Thanks for your video.

Brett Arrington That's no problem. He makes a good point about the narrow options in jewellery/accessories open to men. Once upon a time we had tie pins, now we seldom have ties, fob watches on chains are more or less gone, pince-nez glasses are thankfully gone, gold teeth have been pulled from the market but the wrist watch is standing the test of time. You can buy 5 nice looking designer watches today for €1000 but only 1 basic model from the Swiss watchmakers for that price. That's my 2 cents worth.

Sven Well, odd question. I've always had a rebel inside of me, so I have a "natural" talent in being mean. But I don't think you want to be mean, you just want to be normal, am I right? So you say that you are way too nice, which isn't really a bad thing, I mean, I wish I could be nice too. But if you want to avoid being too nice, be cautious. Still have your manners and still pick things up for people whenever you can to maintain a good impression, but limit the compliments you give to people and limit how much you help people. Again, still help people and be nice to them, but limit yourself. Try to see what normal people are doing and just follow their lead.

Sven You know, to be very honest with you, I don't think it's a bad thing to be too nice. It's just that our society today has shown us that people have a tendency to abuse nice people's kindness and niceness. As a result, you have to control how nice you are. I'm working on that everyday. For now, I would suggest simply focusing on being a good, respectable human being. It will get you far.

This was a great video. Not to sound superior, but I was relieved that I'm already doing most of this, except for the folding (military style) of the dress shirt before tucking it in. That's a neat trick.

I never forget my wristwatch. I always take it off and place it with my wallet so that I will not forget it when stepping out. But honestly for me most times is more for style rather than time, because I use my phone most of the times for time lol

I dont mind a long commercial, placed in a cool way on top of some actually GOOD content. Not like many other channels. The tips he gave were actually usefull

Here's my responses: 1) I never roll my dress short sleeves up not only because it looks messy but because my arms are very big and they squeeze too tight. 2) I agree on the muffin top, and doing what you do makes the shirt more form fitting. 3) Some lights are very irritating, so in that situation, a cap and sunglasses indoors are warranted. 4) I live in a high crime country which is why I don't wear a watch. But many other guys here do. 5) Leather shoes do go with jeans as long as the jeans are themselves cool looking and preferably skinny. 6) Totally agreed on the sneakers. By the way the guys in those pictures look awesome in the skinny jeans and the shoes. 7) You can still get blisters if the socks are too short. Personally I think sandals are better for summer. 8) Very good tip on tucking in dress shirts. 9) I think we need to have wider collars that enable a guy to wear his shirt more open, like they had in the 70s. 10) I get what you're saying, but men's formal dress is extremely limited and constricting. Women's is much more broad and creative, and they can show off more skin. I see no reason why there shouldn't be dressy men's sandals, sleeveless shirts, and shorts. Time for a revolution in this regard.

Great set of tips; I do them all but the muffin top. I would add mom jeans; white tennis shoes, a la cholo; hair that's too short in that it accentuates the beak/snout (nose); cheap trousers with expensive shirts or vice-verse; uncuffed trousers, the cuffing adds a little bit of weight, accentuating length of leg thus look taller; unshined shoes; lumberjack plaid shirts; and I could go on. Honestly, the best would not to use it too much either... Products are basically not good for your hair. Your body knows how to handle them. Just use conditioner the same as you would shampoo imo.

I see no problem with washing hair every day. I prefer to keep clean and my hair would NEVER behave without a wash. I have thick, coarse, and curly hair. Without a wash, my bedhead would never be tamed. As for washing your hair with just conditioner, go for it. It's called a co-wash. A lot of people co-wash instead of shampoo everyday because it's "less harsh" and there are plenty of products that are directly marketed for this purpose.
