It is a cactus actually, just not one that grows in a desert. Still, it's definitely still in the Cactaceae family so he technically did buy a cactus

Ok so. The 10 dollar terrariums could be much better honestly so thats that. For the 1000$ you could have used some more spray foam and silicone to cover up the pots for the plants with more dirt but otherwise the terrarium wouldve looked better.

With the plants in the plant, but you could’ve covered the plant pot with moss so it looks like the plants were just growing on the stick

I think you forgot to add a bit of water to the Forrest Terrarrium in order for it to actually live.

The $10 ones are the best... Your lake one, I think people call them resurrection jar... You should have got more sludge and leaf litter. Then see what life is in there in a few weeks!!!! The $1000 build is out of many people's budget, so that's why I said $10 ones are better!
