As a Reading native I gotta go Lonnie, I also think if we can get lowery that makes a ton of sense. We need a bench pg that can run the offense when Maxey is sitting out and lowery is perfect. Last I’d take either RoCo or morris to finish out the roster. I think we have a much deeper team than a lot of folks thought

I feel like it’s a matter of time until Lowry comes back

I can't make up my mind who I want??? - At least 3 Needs- Here are some possible options 1. Backup PG- Payne, Lowry, Smith, Fultz, Graham, Dinwiddie, who else??? 2. Backup Wing/SF- Hayward, Walker, Trent, Kennard, Bullock, Bey, who else??? 3. Backup PF- Achiuwa, Morris, Crowder, Metu, DJ Wilson, who else???

Confused on why Luke Kennard is up here? We already have a glut of 6'5ish wings. 76ers should be strictly looking for another ball handler and a PF. We have enough wings at this point.

Can never have enough shooters around Embiid. I’m sure we’re both sick of him getting triple teamed in the post. We have until the trade deadline to get a power forward.

@@Booginsmcnutty understand that but get a shooting PF. A 6’9+ shooter. We have a bunch of wing players already. Wouldent make sense from a roster standpoint to sign another 6’5 wing when have like 6 of them and we’re lacking a PF.

⁠​⁠@@TheSyndicate09in an ideal world, yes. There’s a reason why stretch 4’s that can even adequately defend/rebound are a commodity. There’s not a lot of them and they are expensive to acquire. You’re not going to find what you’re wanting with the cap we have left. It’s positionless basketball at this point. If you can acquire shooting like Kennard’s for the min, you have to jump all over it. We may be small rn, but have solid switchability.

@@TradedForaCopyMachine I disagree, Danilo Gallinari & Davis Bertans are both available. They're 6'9+ and can stretch the floor. If you're going to go for an unathletic white boy who can shoot might as well get a PF while your at it.

Agreed BUT I wanted Kennard from day ONE as a bench guard but Morey only knows former Rockets so we got Gordon. Not to late to fix a mistake.

Morris n Kennard would be 🔥 spacing/shooting from the bench

Morris, Kennard, and Lowry.

I would be absolutely shocked if Kennard signs a vet minimum but that would be the steal of the offseason if he does.

We already have Oubre, Caleb Martin, RC4, PG & Eric Gordon. Why would he sign another 6'5 wing who cant play defense. We need a real PF so Oubre can come off the bench and a ball handler. Luke Kennard would be roster redundancy at this point.

It never hurts to have another shooter, all players aren't on teams to play defense it's called role players for a reason, look into the meaning of you can comprehend it, JJ Reddick wasn't a defender either he was here for shooting, most teams have players who can shoot and other who can do both to make up what a non defender lack, again it's called roll players, he would be strictly here for shooting why do you think the hosts said he is a good option it's a reason for that

@@t-miles2283 I can comprehend just fine, no need for insults here. Anyways.. Lowry would be a perfect backup PG at 15-20 mins per game. He’s def worth a vet min at this point. I’m all for another shooter but Kennard doesn’t fit with this roster. We have enough wings, is that hard to understand? We need a PF who can shoot. We have role players. Everyone on our roster outside of PG, Maxey and Embiid are ROLE PLAYERS. Kennard would get buried on the bench fool.

Depends on whether you see Bona as a 5 or 6, but, I still think you need some additional insurance behind Embiid. Charles Bassey will probably be waived due to Spurs getting Harrison Barnes. As a 3rd center I say bring him back to Philly

It will be interesting to see if the sixers sign kj martin to a higher dollar contract and for how much.

Don't think you going to see a lotta move for awhile. I think Morey is still working some trade to improve team and that will take awhile at this point. In the meantime half the teams are done - eother hard capped or have full rosters. THe other half have a bunch of teams in the Cooper Flagg sweepstakes (tanking) so not looking for the best players at this point - looking to take on expiring salaries first then fill out with minimums. I would like us to get Lowry and Morris in the meantime knowing they are reliable bench guys. And maybe Bassey (see previous comment). Still need some young size and scoring coming off the bench or starting 4 whic I think is where Morey is targeting a trade.

M.M. and Luke Kennard and we set. But I don't think they'll accept vet minimums. Probably hold til a team needs the skill that they offer.

I would like Evan Fournier in the back up back court, can shoot can defend and should be cheap

MM and KL would be good to help round out this roster. I love Lonie Walker. I think we need a solid PF in there but we have watched the Heat get away with this for years so we may be okay with smaller wings who can switch.

@charleshamilton4529 the Heat were able to get away with it because as a team they all had the same mentality and buy in to make it work; I don't see that in the players we have assembled and need that "leadership" and tough mentality piece

Some of yall in these comments are far out of touch with reality. What do you expect to get for vet min money? We’re talking about spots at the back of the rotation, if they are even in the rotation at all in some cases. Kennard’s shooting would be an absolute steal at that contract
