Dee, I totally agree with you . Money talks and there's always someone to relieve you of it all. Any reputable surgeon would deny treatment to make a person look ridiculous. Jenny Goddard. I agree with you . I think Tattoos look like huge dirty bruises that turn into faded green bruises with age, before distortion with the appearance of wrinkles . It's really hard to see what tattoos actually are meant to be without close examination. A total waste of time and money and often regretted.

Jenny Goddard.. that's so true. Without loads of makeup , all the scarring and puncture wounds are visible, it becomes so obvious what they've had done and doesn't look at all natural. So in reality, they have to wear loads of make up to cover up tell tale signs of surgery. What's the point , they aren't kidding anyone. To some unsuspecting partner they must look lovely until they see them in the morning after a long night and no make up .

As far as I'm concerned its the same as having a broken leg and the doctor choosing to amputate even before taking an xray!

@The Great SteveO I don't know how it works in the US, that might explain a few things. In Ireland they definitely couldn't be sued for denying unnecessary surgery, in fact the opposite is true. They would be risking their licences by performing unnecessary surgeries without good justification. Some procedures here technically require the approval of a psychologist to say the person is of sound mind and not being coerced etc.

Actually one should keep busy ,happy and content doing what you like to do that sends you to bed happy and fulfilled. That itself will take care of self obsession ,discontentment low self esteem which in turn makes one feel good. You can never look good till you feel good!

I feel so sorry for these people who clearly suffer from body dysmorphia. In my opinion, they took it way to far and caused more harm than good. However, I have to admit that the chick who’s named Cindy Jackson looks amazing. I would have never guessed she had all those surgeries. Whoever her surgeon was sure does fantastic work.

So many of these people were very good looking before they had the plastic surgery, tattoos, etc. Ethan especially was too young to have done so much to himself which has mutilated him. I agree, I don' t think there is anything wrong with getting surgery ...... but going overboard, getting crazy s!@t done and not knowing when to quit are huge problems, alot of these ppl especially in the extreme cases have deeper rooted issues and need a psych evaluation and therapy.

I think there should be a team of ethical professionals to help persons who want to be different from who they are (including transitioning from gender to another) to figure out how to love themselves (truly believe themselves lovable) as they are, and then make permanent (sometimes life or health threatening) decisions, based on that healthy love of self.

Just like the skull protects the brain . Removal of bone from protected areas, leaves us very vunerable to injury .
