Dear editors, PLEASE stop with the abrupt ending of your videos! It's so jarring and I don't know why WhatCulture starting doing it.

Seriously. Do the writers not know how to write an ending or something?

I think it’s cos viewers immediately click off videos so there’s no point. Even though I agree, it’s jarring

They have to do it, all creators do, because youtube punishes your channel if people don't watch to the literal last second 🙄

I don’t think Jules is there anymore either. This must have been one they’ve had around for a bit.

I said that & someone replied “get over it” & I never mentioned it again 😢 *haters* but it was my favorite part as well 😊
The Fifth Element is one of my fave movies of all time also! It is absolutely flawless and camp and more intelligent than an action film should be and I can't get enough of it... but the real gem about the match is if Korben wasn't trying to quit smoking he would've used up the match already, and if he had used it then it negates the whole ending, also prophetic that something that would've killed him ends up saving lives... Also being a Luc Besson film, it's a given that smoking is prevalent

I was going to say, the matches represent him and Liloo. 1 for him at the beginning and the 2nd for her at the end, saving both their lives in culmination.
Jules, it's crazy how much I missed you on the channel. Great to hear you again.

Same! Absolutely love Jules
The scarecrow holding a gun in Wizard of Oz is crazy. I remember his finger being really long 😂
The Mandala effect, you say?
@WhatTheFirstAidSpray

Yeah, it's like the Mandela Effect, but in this case it is where people falsely believe that getting a mandala tattoo is unique and cool, but are in fact mistaken 🤷🏼♂️
The best part of that match from The Fifth Element is the outright tease we get when Korben lights up the match: He does it so high up from the Fire stone, that it's possible it may go out. I remember whenever I watched this as a kid, I'd hold my breath too! XD
Ah yes, the manDAHlar effect, named after 'nobody' Nelson ManDAHlar 😂

Jules!!! my man!!!!
There’s a better unnecessary Easter Egg in Joker. On the Gotham transit map in one scene it says OTISBURG.

I’m sorry, the MandALA effect!? lol

Say ahhhhhhhh! Maybe it's the opposite of the Mandela Effect!
I was just thinking, "Where the hell is Jules!? Hey sir! I hope all is well!
The Fifth Element is one of the best movies of all time, and one of my own all time favorites! Great narration, Jules, and well done to the writers! :)
I knew I loved you, Jules! Knowing Fifth Element is one of your fav. movies too makes me love you more
I feel confident that I saw a video like this from you guys years ago where six or so of the details were the same...
For real glad to see a Jules video definitely missed em
What exactly do mediative patterns have to do with the misremembering of historical media?
Millionaire Robert de Niro couidn't use his own cash if fake money "felt" bad? What a pretentious knob.

I could be wrong but I think he wouldn't have been allowed to do that. I'm pretty sure that the studio had to get the real money insured and that has to go through the prop master. Plus, it sounds like something that the actors' guild would prohibit. But either way, De Niro couldn't just PRETEND it's real money?! 😂
I'm glad you got the hyperventilation purpose correct- most people wrongly say it is to take on as much oxygen as possible. Research win 😁
The Scarecrow with the gun is hilarious LMMFAO🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

... and here I was commenting that list makers can stop including the Wizard of Oz stuff as everyone has heard it a LOT of times, especially this gun one.... nevermind, I guess.
Funnily enough, Scarecrow also had a gun in Tom & Jerry and The Wizard of Oz.
The Fifth Element - There are plenty of things in this movie that are show to the audience, which have no bearing on the plot. Like Corbin's cat, the attempted robbery with the wacky guy outside his door, Zorg demonstrating his fancy gun to the alien mercenaries, the weird little creature in his desk, etc. Actually, I find the match scene kind of lazy in that you automatically expect there to be some last minute drama in activating the stones, and hey look, we only have one match, better not waste it!
Marvel's Agents of Shield needed a Nazi uniform for one of their guest actors. They went to the source, Hugo Boss, who still has the original patterns. They were the Official Uniform supplier for the Nazi Party.
Is this a rerelease of an older video?
As someone who regularly watches the 5th element every so often, i can proudly say that i actually did notice that detail.
Jules is back! Absolute ledge!
That's one hard cut at the end there
I really need to rewatch the Fifth Element though
I noticed the gun years ago when The Wizard Of Oz only came on once a year
If they are unnecessary details, why do we need to know them?
Scarecrow made Chekhov roll in his grave. Edit: legit DID NOT realize there was actually going to be a Chekhov’s Gun reference later in this vid 🤣 omg
we got Sopranoed!
The bigger question of the tent pitching is, why were you looking for that in the first place?
It's "Mandela effect", not "mandala". It's a reference to the black man who had been in a South African prison for a quarter of a century for racist reasons, and who later became the President of South Africa.
I still have The Wizard Of Oz on VHS.
There are somethings you don't need to know about. I could have spent my whole life happily never knowing lord F, Wad got a chubby in Shrek. Now. I can never un-see that.
I also love The Fifth Element.
It’s the Mandela Effect, not the Mandala Effect… or… wait, is it? I’ll ask the Berenstein Bears.
Who needs courage when you have a gun - Dr. Zoidberg
Hi, Jules!
Robert de niro hating fake money is wild
What was the big deal about the Scarecrow having a gun?
Interesting info about the Nazi uniforms, but the word “cache” is pronounced the same as “cash”, not “cashay”. (Yes, I am a pedant…)
Na I remember the gun
Jules!!
The fifth element is the best.
Please, I saw Lane hypersaturating in theatres.
Based scarecrow
Six Underground was a stupid movie
Joker is not from batman. It is a stand alone movie that capitalized on a name hoping peolle would associate it with the franchise. Joker is not the joker. Joker doesnt have an origin story. Thats why hes great. He doesnt even know where he came from. Joker movie is crap.
Apples to apples, Not apples to oranges.
Batman in a mirror utter bollocks I will not be watching the rest of this tripe
