The idea of staying in versus Wigglytuff with Lickitung is that it sets up an incinerate down for Ty, if the opponent pivots out of Wiggly when Ty comes in then they are in Hydro cannon range later for Gatr. (Most late game scenarios will revolve around 0-1 protect shield situations which is much better for Gatr’s pacing than safe swapping into the 2s vs Wiggly. Most Wigglytuff teams have some sort of anti steel pokemon in the back, like a Mudboi or an Annihilape. Gatr can sweep a lot of the Wigglytuff backlines up energy or shields.

Thanks for the breakdown Reis! The team is definitely a bit on the glassy side, but with good maneuvering it works very well. I run Crunch to put pressure on Lanturn, but Ice Beam may be more viable after the spark nerf. Serp and Chesnaught are offered as alternatives if Bastiodon and Magnezone leads are common at different ELO brackets, but lots of teams don’t have a good Whimsi answer.

I've been using goodra, lanturn , and typhlosion. Works pretty good and love the coverage

Im trying too find a good team for my typhlosion thing is i don't like copy n paste teams...i love using pokemon that surprises other players cause they never seen it in gbl but in turn destroys things, edit: scrafty, steelix and rank 1 victeebell with magical leaf is my main gl team everyone sees these pokemon but how many have u seen run these together? It gives me like 90% win rate

Not saying pvpoke is the end all be all, but these teams all score pretty poorly when analyzed there. Is this an attempt to give the spice picks more options?

Kind of but if you can get Typlosion a shield or energy advantage it can one-shot a lot of Pokémon that pvpoke says it loses to
