This happened about a month ago and made me question reality as a whole. I live in three-storey flat. We rent out the 3rd floor to an old Japanese couple and they usually give us gifts and foods every now and then. A month ago, they gave us a box of those fancy, expensive chocolate set. I remembered opening up the box (in the kitchen) and saw that there were 9 packages of chocolate inside. The colours of wrappings were white, pink, and blue. I remembered spending at least 2-3 minutes to pick which one I wanna eat. For me, I always associate the designs and colours of the wrappings/packages to the flavors of the goodies inside. So I decided to pick the "pink" one cause I thought the chocolate inside would taste better than the ones with the white or blue wrappings. I picked the pink one out of the box and placed it on the kitchen table. Then my mom called me from the living room to ask me to bring her a cup of tea. I did and that was when the strangest thing happened. When I came back to the kitchen, the chocolate that I picked out from the box....was white. I thought maybe I picked the wrong one but when I opened the box, i saw that they were all...white. No pinks, no blues, ... just whites. It was impossible cause i remembered spending at least a few minutes to pick which colour I wanna eat. And FYI, I'm not colour blind either so I have no idea how this could have happened. I freaked out and didn't end up eating the chocolate. I always hear people talking about "glitch in the matrix" stories and now it has happened to me.

That made cleaning out my fiances work truck much more bearable! I hate cleaning, and I hate the heat. I don't think I've stopped sweating all day, meanwhile there are leaves on the ground? But it's not normal north eastern fall foliage because then there would be something other than dead brown leaves on the ground 🥴 I've been fighting the windows 11 update for months now...I'm scared. I mean I have a solid back up of my lappytoppy, but it just sounds like a lot of drama for little reward🙄😮‍💨

I installed 11... Then within the week reverted to 10, I genuinely did not like the feel of 11. I'm happy I was able to help make cleaning go by faster though!

I always look forward to the new stories, I love the new updates every week. That being said I love the "Nevermore" Title I feel there is just something so cool about that name. I used to play a super hero table top rpg with my buddies and I had a sniper npc named Nevermore, she wore a black silk full head mask with a jade colored crow on it. I always had her say before she pulled the trigger "now you're nevermore."

@@AsTheRavenDreams She is still a character that gets used when I run. She was so much fun and iconic, with her simple costume and abilities. Even change to a newer system she can still be used.

Great glitch stories. It was a good distraction. Today is the 4th anniversary of my nephew's death from an overdose. I was thinking how great it would be if it was just a glitch and tomorrow it would have never happened. Sigh.

Story two, so many parents seem to forget really serious, traumatic events. I guess they just suppress it. I’ve experienced this & a psych told me it’s common in her experience working with clients & parents of clients. But it could explain what happened & the nephew doesn’t remember because he was too young.

The story about the kid drowning made me think of a story of my own . Back in like 2011 I had these awful migraines they hurt so bad . Over time I would hear this intrusive loud thought repeated over and over aneurysm , aneurysm ... one day the pain was so bad I felt like my head was gonna explode , this lasted till about 4 or 5 in the morning . Later I found out my grandma had died of an aneurysm about 4 to 5 am .. that is when the pain left . I wonder if it's possible the boy felt what that girl felt before she was drowning ?? Can we feel others close to us possibly sometimes what may happen to them ? I dunno it was strange thing . Definetly a lot more about life that we need to discover our connection to each other .

It's actually a glitch- the word was actually ubiquitous, but the matrix changed it to update at the last second 😥

Processing... Processing... Processing... Error. An unknown error has occurred.

I live on a mountain right near the time change happens. My clock will always bounce around between central time and eastern time. I have to keep the time zone locked bc it flips quite often. My guess is that something along those lines happened with the guy who lost an hour. I have a cabin in the central time zone and more than once I magically lost an hour (to the time zone change)

The frozen fish story 100 % sounds like a mini stroke. I forget what the exact type of stroke it is. But it makes you unable to process anything in motion.

Agreed, that's why I love these stories. They teeter closer to Weird, and they can be downright unsettling

I think regarding "Philip", maybe the glitch was him being born assigned female since he obviously felt like that was wrong anyway. And that was why his parents didn't even think up a female name until he was born. So his friend probably felt Philip vibes because he was always meant to be philip.

I don't think they were shifting the blame there, that sounded more like 'i don't want to talk about why I don't have my license', which I respect entirely. They could have a medical issue, or may have made mistakes in the past they aren't proud of. As for berating him in his stubbornness, driving long distance without stopping when tired can be very dangerous, and I don't feel like it was berating personally.
