Hope I will be able to buy one soon. I personally have two stages of buying something from these guys: 1) This shit is expensive, I shouldn’t buy, I can find cheaper alternatives. 2) What was I worrying about? This thing is awesome I want to use it every second of my life.

Great video. I feel sorry for your buddy though, but I am still laughing. I like the tripod and what Peak Design is all about. I have several of their bags and other items. OG BMPCC was the camera I've always dreamt of having but never ended up getting. would be dope to see a current review of it to see how it stacks up against everything else out now. I feel like it was (is) a really dope camera for the size and the price!

Any opinion on this vs Manfrotto 635? I am torn. The manfrotto seems far more video-ready, but its heavy heavy. Thanks for the video-take on it.

Kinda amazing the Olympus works that well, eh. Peter Gregg would be proud to see you use it as well, lol. Just for me, knowing that Panasonic has all the features in the world, from anamorphic mode to 10-bit and waveforms/vectorscope overlays, I just couldn't. Maybe in more healthier prospect financial times I'll just have one of each MFT camera out there. For now though, no Olympus for me. The tripod no doubt is amazing and I have the PD cufflinks, everday backpack and stuff, but that tripod is on the pricey side, I'll make do with my Rollei C6i Carbon.

Can you do top down shots with this tripod?

Ya... for sure! It's worth it if you need the features and of course the aluminum one is much more affordable

@5:58 I also thought I’ll never loose it until while setting tripod I saw the whole clip with a key flied into the river. I was lucky it was stopped by the grass. Remove that clip and keep the key separate would be my advice.

So far so good! But I must admit... I shot the talking part of this video on the Olympus and then a few days later I shot all the b-roll after I received the canon m50. I shot all the b-roll on the m50 and really loved it b

Peak uses

$600 for a tripod? No thanks, I got IBIS.

But the bubble? You cant level it! You cant shoot macro, its not stable for macro.!the tripod is good for amatours
