Especially if it’s the Steely Dan version.

That End of Time figure looks like a minor He-Man character that shows up for one episode, then never heard from ever again or a He-Man character that would end up getting destroyed and dying on the first episode.

Diaclone is actually the original brand for a lot of the Transformers. I remember it. A lot of kids sought it, especially the vehicles that came with mini-drivers Hasbro excluded from the US line.

Yep. There were also two Transformers Gen 1 Decepticon transforming cassette tapes. There was Laser Beak, who looked like a bird, and there was Ravage, who was a cat with missiles attached to his sides. There were also, I think, Autobot ones.

I remember them at the time at Big lots they had Japanese packaging the only thing missing was the holographic symbol. Little did us kids know it was the real deal.

I had a transforming cassette...and I loved it.

LOL, but you NEVER want to bring your best toy either, it could get broken. Bring your 3rd or 4th best toy; it's cool but not too precious

You can totally all show up with Darth Vader.... then you can compare COO's, sabre types and even chest plate pain jobs! The fun is endless!

That Hulk Hogan looks like some ai mutation. It's 90% he-man physique and then runs off the rails with random lumps. Pectorals don't have lines like that!

That Diaclone did eventually become a real Transformer. The same mold was used for Ravage and looks unchanged besides a Decepticon symbol

A sleep over can be one or more guests.... a slumber party is more than one guest!

Earth Force also made Laser Force. I took all the armor and put in on my Skeletor and it's totally leveled up now. Only thing that sucks is it takes a battery that no longer exists

That diaclone was a G1 Transformers Ravage figure. My friends would have thought that toy out of the entire list was cool. It's the cassette tape that goes into the eject port on a G1 Transformers Soundwave figure. Awesome video Junkman

Wow! So Ravage started out as a Diaclone Jaguar. Hey about that. You learn something new every day. Also by coincidence, this December will mark the 40th anniversary that I got Soundwave for Christmas '84. Not sure if Ravage was included along with Buzzsaw (or was it laser beak)but they were my favorite Transformers and they were cool. Hey Junkman, you should really give Diaclone Jaguar (Ravage) another chance. I mean Ravage was toy royalty for god's sake. Awesome video non the less. Hope Russ is feeling better and comes back soon. Can't wait for another Russ and Junkman livestream. Best livestreams on KZread!

Junk man I wouldn’t have to worry about bringing any of those toys to a sleepover with my friends way back in the day,40 years ago. I never heard of any of those toys other than the Michael Jackson Doll which I never had.And I wouldn’t have brought it over to a Sleepover. I remember the show Riptide being on the Air,I kind of remember Riptide. I love how u started out your video,it was a trip. Have a good evening 😊!

I'm pretty sure Diaclone is the original Japanese version of Transformers.

@@user-ct1yd7zr2c Yes, Diaclone was licensed to become Transformers so here in the USA we were playing with Diaclone toys rebranded as Transformers. Hasbro licensed them from Takara.

I was fortunate enough not to have any of those awful toys.... then again, nobody would invite me over for a sleep over because I was the kid who liked to blow stuff up....

Which Hasbro licensed in 1984 and merged the two lines into what would eventually become "Transformers". Joustra ("Jouets de Strasbourg") was a French toy company which was a subsidiary of Ceji (Compagnie Générale du Jouet). Like Hasbro, they two obtained the license from Takara to distribute (Diaclone and Micro Change) toys in France, Belgium and the Netherlands in 1984 and 1985. That is 1 of 3 mini Cassette partners of the Decepticon ''Soundwave''. Also known as (Cassetticons), who could fit inside Soundwave's chest while in cassette mode. Soundwave is based on the Takara Micro Change character "Cassette Man".

That (Cassetticon) was from the French toy company "Joustra". Now, if you were an 11 year old boy who's Dad for whatever reason? Visited Japan and brought you back an actual Takara transforming (Micro Change or Diaclone) robot toy. That had not only the (Takara name and logo) on it...But also Japanese writing on the box! You're11 year old friends, would probably think that you were very Cool.❄Toys are one of many popular things that Japanese have brought to America from Japan. 🗾

Did you join the Butterfly Woman fan club? I'm guessing thats where you learned the words to the tune.
