Been grinding qp with ana. In regards to staggering, if every member of your team is staggering, you can wait for either the player who is carrying the most (which might allow early picks and evening the 2v5) or wait for the player who is present and dying slowest (which increasing their uptime allows for the rest of your team to catch up). Idk how this will play out in ranked cuz i avoid it so i can still enjoy this game before it dies

Perfect your mechanics and play aggressively. Play only 1-2 heroes, stop blaming your teammates, don’t queue past midnight. Make a new account if your mmr is bad. Don’t bother with comms, don’t queue when tilted.

Playing only 1-2 heroes is a bad idea in this game. If you get diffed and can’t counter pick your never gonna get very far. I’d say master at least 4 tanks, 4 DPS, and 3 healers. That way your hero pool is nice and big.

Finally hit masters dps you videos helped my game sense for sure

People whine about one tricks but that’s how you truly gain skill. One trick against what you’re good against but also what counters you. Playing against your counters makes you a better player

For tip one: i got a duo, hes been on zar, and I'll either kiri, Moira or mercy pocket him, andnhe will consistently get 3-5 picks a fight if our dps arent inting. We listen to each other and have GREAT synergy. Gwt a duo you can comm with!! nd plan plays and fights

I reached Diamond and now I’m stuck high Gold/low Plat again. When you want to climb as support, just carry your 4 random donkey mates all the time. So easy :)

@@runkvist my mate is consistently masters on tank but her alt is gold, it's just a completely different game in those ranks. But there are a lot of complainers who think they're a lot better than they are for sure lol

I really want to one trick genji, and I have gotten to plat going genji only. But I really struggle with the consistency of my gameplay. I’ve played 2 matches today. The first I rolled the whole enemy team all match, and the second I basically did nothing. They didn’t even counter swap. They just started with reaper, torb, mercy, brig. I have 0 dash targets, so how do I get any value on my character? Later the torb swapped to Hanzo, but I couldn’t secure any kills on him since the brig got him back to full hp every time I was about to kill him, and then I was dead

You should at least have a second hero you can play on the same level that doesnt do similar stuff or gets countered by the same heroes as your main.

I don't like to blame teammates or the enemy team, we are all stuck in those metal ranks. I'm gold 1. But today was horrible. I had 8 loses, I don't know how I managed to stay on the same rank, I really thought I was going down or two ranks. There was a sombra that left the game because they were petty about something that was said in the chat. Another match k had an ana being petty with our soldier because of reasons and they weren't helping at all, they were just looking at our soldier and hitting him. In another match our sym left, and came back and left again. In another match there were 2 Smurfs. And I had another one were somebody else left. So yeah... 5 of those games were out of my hands completely, specially 3 of them were we were really snowballing the enemy team and because of pettiness we lost. People can actually be really mean in this game, I try to keep a healthy environment, but some people just let their egos go to their heads and flame as much as they can, even tho that means losing the game. O really don't know how I managed to stay on the same rank. This system is weird

is it still top 10%? We haven't seen the distribution in years no?

I'm just looking at the props on blizzard world to see someone hiding ffs 😂

@@mato_kun2602 yeah that’s pretty much the same thing. I just divided the percentage of each rank by five to divide it amongst all the tiers within the ranks.

Wish I had a Duo. Just Hard, I have a Duo for Quick PLay (Cause I play on COnsole and tehy PLay on PC)

It's bs that ranks are locked to console and pc. Almost every other game has crossplay in their competitive modes and they fix this by locking it with the input. And I don't understand why overwatch doesn't support m&kb on console. I also play on console and all my friends do it on PC 🙄

dude same, i would pick my cousin but he doesn’t do comp and my other cousins either don’t play anymore or play other games a lot more and queue with their friends a ton bc they’re all pretty much same ranks

Yeah waste your life in a que for 20mins whilst waiting for a game, Comp ques are standard 15 mins healers/Dps and 1 minute Tank que so the wholesystem is broken.

Definitely not, diamond is top 10%. ow1 ranks were just deflated because only veterans where playing at some point. believe me from a new player(gold) pov diamond players are really good and you should feel good.

Not joining voice chat in ranked is throwing and should be reportable. Sorry not sorry you have anxiety or some bullshit maybe play a single player game. 🤷 i dont care. Be in vc or you are chosing to play at a disadvantage, and to give your team a disadvantage in every game you play. You become a liability due to a choice you made. Something you have a lot more control over than aim, or positioning. All you have to do is click the button. There are absolutely no legitimate excuses for not joining voice chat. Try me.

As someone who is newer to OW, but played League at a decently high rank I'd disagree. 9/10 times most comms in low elo matches does not provide any useful information and tends to be a flame-fest. It can frequently be a net negative to your own personal gameplay when things turn sour/toxic and not even being aware of said stuff happening will give you more control over yourself and your agency in the game (because no matter how hard you try, a lot of people are not willing to change and the only person you can change/improve is yourself). That's my opinion though

Honestly though. I started a new account and played Lucio at max sensitivity and no aim assist, (On console). With pretty much only AOE heals and speed, decent cooldown/ult timing, no staggering, and almost no damage, I got into plat 4. Aim isn’t that important in the lower ranks, as long as you understand the fundamentals of the game. Hitting GM is pretty crazy though, I’ve only hit diamond so far so congrats to you.
