3:36 I bet the R29's colour scheme was at least partially dictated by ING (Renault's principal sponsor, @ least until CrashGate ;)

In a weird way, the stepped 2012 noses appeal to me now that I look back on them...but 2014 has only gotten worse with time. 2013 with the vanity panel was a high point in between for sure :)

From some angles the stepped noses don't look too bad mainly from front on and side on, however the t cam and onboard footage looks terrible, I think Lotus looks the worst from those angles but alright every where else

Ever since 2014 I've hated the noses of the modern cars, the early noses were horrific but even now the 'thumb' noses on every car just still look weird to me. It's amazing that only the Mercedes all this time has managed to keep a decent looking front end with no little weird thumb sticking out. Hopefully 2021 will bring back more appealing front nose designs.

I actually liked the 2012 cars, a lot. The stepped nose liked good on the Lotus and the Williams. It looked great on the Mercedes too, IMO.

The Toro Rosso should be parked directly in front of the Lotus ;)

yeah the r29 is the best looking f1 car in my opinion

I kind of like the F310, particularly the huge, boxy intakes. Makes it look like a muscle car imagined as an F1 machine.

I honestly liked the stepped nose of 2012, they were looking powerful and aggressive.

Man, the 1996 cars looked cool! The F310 looked great with a low nose, and the prettiest car of the field was the MP4/11

I have to say that I loved the look of the F2012 The step nose was one of the best things F1 has ever had With them you could see the grid number really easy Not like today on the red bull... The number is just on the top of the chassis so you can see it just from above but not from the front view

I actually really liked the idea of the X-Wings, although the Prosts running with just a single one did look a lot more daft. Possibly could have been made to look a bit more elegant, but in the end a bit irrelevant as I remember Schumacher and a few others saying they only noticed a very minimal difference to the performance of their car, if any.

Greatest drivers in history? I’m gonna say that you’ve been sniffing glue. He was a good driver, no doubt he was fast, but boy did he moan when he didn’t get his own way. Hamilton embarrassed him in his first season, jumped up rookie nearly outshone him on track and since then Alonso has been proven to be just good, never going to trouble the greatest in history list.
