I sometimes think Captain America becoming or always being a hydra agent reflects modern Marvel writers' thinking and morality. Always destroying everything we grew up loving. And somehow trying to convince us we were somehow wrong for not liking it (the fact that they are destroying it). A very post modern view of everything.

Why is that an issue, in comics everything goes back to the status quo unless it’s revolutionary. It’s not like cap is way more popular as a villain so they would never keep that. When you have decades upon decades of writers who have done a character a heel turn is not the worst thing that can happen. Some of the most revolutionary comics of all time have a very post modern view lol. If they didn’t then these heroes would only be differentiated by the costume they wear.

The reason Namor was chosen as one of the Phoenix 5 is simply because Namor is a mutant. Yes, Namor is a mutant.

Hawk becoming Monarch. Great series where Wave Ryder showed us different possible futures including one where President Superman gets Guy Gardners power ring. The whole series was about "which hero goes bad?"

Hal Jordan didn't just put an end to the corps. He lead a one man wrecking crew on all of creation. We are talking about a guy that was going to rewrite TIME IT-BLOODY-SELF! This is not including snapping Sinestro's neck with his bare hands and absorbing nearly all of the power of the green power battery into himself. Then there is killing Kilowag, making the last big bad crossover villain Monarch his bitch! This is the tip of the iceberg and in its completion is one of the best comic stories of a fall and eventual redemption. Then you lot go and give this great story barely a minute of screen time....cunts.

jacob schellen Not really. Once he became Parallax, Hal was very wishy-washy. He'd start doing something terrible, stop, undo it, and disappear. His rampage in Emerald Twilight was one of his worsts.

I got really excited when you mentioned Mr fantastic, but then really disappointed when you weren't doing the ultimate version where his family dies and he becomes the maker

Snap, that Logan comment was fighting words! I just read OML for the first time a week ago, and damn, it's SO GOOD! So much better than the movie (which is still good, but not nearly as good as the book!)

Stev Paalsen It’s crap. Edge world for dark teenagers that want blood and gore. On a grim, sad, dark and depressing world. World which doesn’t make any fucking sense. Why would magneto take a portion of America and then allow everybody in? Realistically he would have first.- never allied with the red skull because the red skull is a nazi and he is a holocaust survivor and 2.- magneto would have not allowed anyone but mutants in. He would have exterminated all humans in the area. Also the reveal that mutants where nothing but an anomaly would have mentally crushed him.

And ultimate reed Richards from fantastic four leader to The Maker. After a bit of thought, seems to be a lot!

Charles Xavier as Onslaught, when Charles Xavier took into himself the seed of magneto. This became a massive crossover involving all x-men (including x-man) issues, avengers, fantastic 4. Which lead to all the non-mutant heroes that was fighting onslaught to apparently die (only to be sent to a pocket world created by Franklin Richards.

How in the Hell did Dark Phoenix NOT make this list?!?!

Alexander Weber Technically, Phoenix was never "good" to begin with. Even before Mastermind twisted her thought, she had been experiencing violent outbursts, viciously attacking Magneto before her poor control of her cosmic powers caused them to fade and letting Magneto knock her out. Not long before that, she lashed out at Wolverine who was trying to snap her out of Mesmero's control by slapping her a few times since intense anger seemed to break his brainwashing (it worked for Wolverine himself). Phoenix was NEVER quite right.

Parallax had the potential to be the greatest villain in DC history but, crusty fanboys couldn't handle their precious Hal Jordan being evil...

Parallax was great but potentially the greatest DC villain?!? That's a stretch even for his story at that point, especially with beings like Anti Monitor or Darkseid. DC didn't do much wrong with that or reverting Hal to good, either.

Anvengers Disassembled/House of M was retconned in Young Avengers so Wanda was being controlled by a demon.

Why you out here hating on old man logan it was, a great story. And yes logan was an amazing movie that was, loosely based on the book, but you have to recognize that at its core they are two different stories which are both amazingly well done and told. So it's unfair to judge them against each other

GoAwayGoogle I do agree with that but you have to realize that it's a what if story an alternate timeline. So you do make a good point but I like it when we get to see characters act out of character it's refreshing from the same old same old you know what I mean. But I will say it makes it all the more sweeter to read sorries when they're making the character act normal again

DC had a short year-and-a-half series called Armageddon 2001 for one of their Heroes turned into the futuristic World dictator known as monarch. the DC character known as Wave Rider actually came from this series

Well, Hawk turning into Monarch in in Armageddon 2011 DC crossover was quite a story back in the day.

Only 3 of these are actually legitimate... Hydra Cap, Parallex Hal, and Phoenix Cyke.... the rest are alternate reality/what if scenarios... just sayin"

You need to put the Thing on this list. During one of Reed's cure for him turned him bad and he and the Hulk tore New York a new one during their battles. Reed finally got him back to his normal self but he was bad during this time.

Personally, I feel like its comparing apples and oranges. Old Man Logan was supposed to be edgy, campy, and fun, while the Logan film was a lot more serious about the apocalypse. Different goals went into the mediums.

Green Lantern was possessed by the evil entity Parallax, he didn't just decide to go evil. It worked it's way into his mind and eventually fully took over after Hal suffered severe emotional trauma.

I haven't seen this video at all and I'm gonna make a guess and say the story of injustice and evil superman is on this list

Noel you got that backwards. Old man Logan is about a broken man trying to find salvation in a cruel world. Logan was about a guy pissed off for little reason hiding out in the desert for reasons that dont make sense for his character and require you to believe wolverine is a different person for the story to work in any way. The movie also heavily relies on the incompetence of everyone involved.

They're both good. Saying a Graphic Novel is better than a Movie, is like saying Meat is better than a Fruit the comparison doesn't work. Logan is loosely based on Old Man Logan not directly, the comparison would be more appropriate if the film was directly based on the book, then you can say how well it adapted the story.

But Wonder Woman DOES has a motivation for what she was doing in Injustice . She is in love with Superman . And in Injustice 2 , her love for him is so strong , she kinda corrupted him

#9: I think there is actually more to Wonder Woman's turn then just randomly being evil. The way she eggs him on in the first game and in a much for villain-like fashion in the 2nd game (Especially when she responds to his "Maybe this has gone too far" comment with "Words of weakness") tells me Superman is basically her pawn for something bigger. A Goddess of War strongly encouraging a man with God-like power to be that ruler that he is? There's something much more sinister going on there and its more then just voluntarily becoming Superman's rebound Girl.

Green Lantern when he get the Orange Ring of Avirace he became so greedy and evil! Batman also became evil when he steals the Speed-Force energy from The Flash and became The Red Death.
