Same with me.. they get more Blue/ Grey with age, because my entire life I had green eyes.. then One day I just noticed they looked grey.. Wasn't only me that noticed either.. both my kids said " Wth, when did your eyes turned blue ?.. I thought it was just me seeing things, cause my vision changed at the same time..

you did forget one: often seen in people with celtic backgrounds ( In my case, mostly Cymraeg (Welsh, in its own language)). It is called "glas" and means all the colours of the sea: blue, grey, green and combinations thereof. They change with my mood, actually. Blue when serene or happy, green when angry or very sad, grey at other various times...like the sea itself ; )

Same with me, it is very difficult to define the colour as the iris is multicoloured and their colour change with my mood and the weather.

I was born with blue eyes. They stayed blue all thru my childhood. Starting in my 20's they began to lighten and by my 30's they had changed to steel gray. Over time, my eyes continued to change so that by my 50's I had light green eyes. I've had to change the eye color on my drivers licence three times.

You have a Hazel eyes. They change colors depending on what you're wearing. So I have Hazel eyes by we're green. They're green. But we're blue. They're blue, they're blue. They're blue. They're blue. They're blue. They're blue, they're blue if I wear darker colors. They get a tint of gray that's hazel eyes

@@christineyeigh2217 Read my comment again. It was not clothing color or changes in the lighting. Over time, my eyes changed color to the point that I was forced to change my official eye color on my identification. It is rare...but not unheard of, though I've yet to get a good explaination.

@@traceybeagle9934 i'm for the most part blue eyed, my husband is blue eyed, my children are blue eyed, mmm every one i know is blue eyed with the exception of 4 people, and tbh they are all wonderful people. i think when someone describes someone's eyes like cold steel it has more to do with the facial expression that goes with it as well. from my own experience my kids say i have what they call a death glare. And they say it's scary. My eyes turn a grayish blue like cold hard steel. and my face is void of all emotion. i've seen that same look on people with different eye colors as well but you can't relate the color to cold hard steel bc steel when it's cold has a bluish tint to it.

My daughters may say differently, lol they will tell you i have a death glare that is scary. they are now 40,38, & 36bc when i'm angry my eyes turn a grayish blue and my face kind of goes void of all emotion. But that was more of a tactical use than anything. My Grandfather, never once puunished me all he had to do was look at me and raise his eye brow and i knew i'd done something wrong. My mother was an ausive alcoholic. so i was always afraid to punish my kids for fear of taking it to far. so i practiced this stern eye look, and the face just came from me counting to ten to get my frustration and anger under control. And the look worked just like my grandfather's look worked for me. they knew they had done something wrong and it gave me a chance to calm down and punish them accordingly. the color change was just something that happened naturally, i had no control over that, but it sure added to the effect, LOL My youngest daughter's eyes change to gray when she gets angry as well. which i find very interesting bc otherwise we both have very bright blue eyes. I think that when people describe people with blue eyes as being cold as steel it's bc blue eyes show so much emotions. our eyes change colors depending on our moods. so when you see someone who has a truly hardened heart their eyes reflect that as well. and steel does have a bluish tint along with that shiny gray tint to it. that we all can relate to. eyes are the windows to the souls and i think blue eyed people have the most open windows there are. while the other colors are truly beautiful and may seem more exotic, it's harder to look into them and see what they are feeling.

Honest blue eyes.

NOT "MUSCULAR" degeneration, it's MACULAR degeneration, which is a situation that can produce the kind of tunnel vision where the center of what a person sees is dark but normal around the dark tunnel, and usually happens mostly in older people. Most people have a "limbal ring" which is the darker ring around the outside of the iris. Dark eyes may have it but it is much harder to see. The ring can be wide or narrow. My eyes are hazel and have gold near the pupil with a blue limbal ring, but they can look green in certain light or depending on what I wear, as your eyes can appear to pick up color in what you wear at times. Various shades of blue are usual for a limbal ring around the iris.

My great grandmother was well known for her violet eyes, they were, apparently, mesmerising. My cousin has yellow (I wouldn't call them amber, they are very yellow). My daughter and youngest son have clear blue eyes, my middle hazel, whilst I, and my eldest son have green (I am also left-handed which makes me super-rare 😂). It's intriguing how all these different eye colours appear in one family.

There certain type of person who goes to ancient myths and calls me a demon, a werewolf or a vampire (the last one is an old belief that redheads must be such, probably because we burn in the sun). That gets old so I now wear dark glasses. But thank you for the compliment. It is much appreciated. It is lovely to know that there are others with similar eyes.

What a fascinating topic. I'm a hazel, but I've always been a little envious of the rest of my family. Dad was heterochromic (one completely grey, the other eye bright blue), whilst both my mum and brother are ambers.

I am the only one in my family to have green (really teal green) eyes. The rest have golden skin and pale blue eyes. I finally really looked at my eyes in a mirror. They are teal green with a metallic gold fanning out from the pupil. I noticed if I looked in the sunlight, the gold was vibrant and the teal was close to metallic. Again I was happy to be me instead of my light eyed family. Many years later, I found a kitten on an asphalt car lot. She was 6 weeks old and only weighed 12 ounces. My husband was in a VA rehab hospital 50 miles away ,broken hip, so I had plenty of time to baby my "baby". Even the vet told me that she probably wouldn't make it. I taught her to drink water by adding water to her canned kitten food. We flourished together. First thing I said when I saw her was Bella. She lived up to her name. I was curious one day because her eyes were different. So into a magnifying mirror we went. She "posed" looking straight into the bright light. Her eyes were exactly like mine only reversed! I knew then that she was special. God had blessed me with my perfect "bella" kitty. She was with me for 14 years and yes she had vision problems from her rough start in life. My husband loved her as much as I did.

I have blue eyes and I do have a high tolerance for pain but not alcohol. I'm not competitive at all. I'm very friendly, laid-back, and flexible with what life throws at me.

Both my parents had blue eyes. When I was in my 30-40 age bracket my eyes were yellow with brown centre around the iris. After having digestion problems and going off wheat and most grains eg, oats barley my eyes are now blue. Liver dysfunction, then detoxing can change your eye colour enormously.

I have hazel eyes, but when I was COVID positive, I noticed when I looked in the mirror one night (when I was especially tired) my eyes were a deep emerald green. The next time I looked in the mirror, a few day later when I felt better, my eyes were their normal hazel color.

There was no mention of green. I'm 1/4 German, 1/4 Italian and 1/2 Irish which made for some strange coloring - auburn hair, olive green eyes and olive skin. I've been accused of wearing contact lenses.

I have green eyes. I remember when I was in grade school my math teacher told us that green-eyed people couldn't be trusted. The boy sitting next to me looked into my eyes and promptly announced to the class that I had green eyes. Thanks a bunch teach!! Actually I am pretty trustworthy. If family & friends tell me anything in confidence it's kept between me and them. I've had friends and even family share things with others when I thought they wouldn't. That's a lesson I learned a lot from. I refuse to be that kind of person.

I’m a true green eyed girl. I get comments very often about how unique and very green they are. When I wear a dark teal my eyes are an emerald green with a black ring outline. The only thing I can agree on as far as characteristics of green eyed people would be passionate. I am no where near mysterious but yet I strive to be more creative.

I've only met one person with violet eyes, in my entire life. They weren't pink at all, but a very distinct purple. It was something you would notice immediately upon meeting her.

My eyes go from dark blue to grey to light violet regardless of what the lighting is or what I am wearing. According to my Mum she could tell what I was feeling or when I was ill just by what colour and shade they were. Ethnicity: English, Scottish, Irish and Welsh in equal measures.

I'm exactly the same. My eyes are blue usually medium with gray around the outside. But my eyes can go to light or dark blue, if I have a migraine my eyes are gray. If it's the dead of winter my eyes are also gray blue😂😂 genetics: scots, scots-irish and Welch😂😂😂😂❤

I was born with Paul Newman blue eyes, they turned grey in high school, turned green at 27 and stayed green until my mid 60’s. Then went to grey and now at 71 I’m seeing more blue in them. My father’s eyes went from black to brown and in my Mother’s family one person in every generation has one blue & one brown eye.

Amber eyes are awesome.

My grandfather had a blue and an amber brown eye. As a young kid I remember looking up at him and making that pronouncement and asking him “how did he do that”?! My father and his father had gray eyes (listed on their draft cards), I have the combination of the blue/gray color. My grandmother had crystal clear blue eyes. My daughter has green eyes like her father, my sister has green/hazel eyes, our mother a cloudy blue eyes. I knew a girl in HS that had clear turquoise eyes. I saw a very dark black guy that same time period (while in high school) , that had very bright clear blue eyes. I had a friend who had sea blue eyes and thick red hair with almost pure white skin. I have another friend with Yellow eyes and brown hair that pulls a lot of chestnut red with pale white skin tone. So many beautiful combinations 🥰 All great combinations that were beautiful on each person.

I have two different colored eyes. And a section of my left eye is split colored. My husband has brown eyes and he is Hispanic and we have 4 children, our younger son has blue eyes. It's always fun to see genetics 🧬 in our kiddos.

I was lucky to be born with Green Eyes. they are definitely one of my best features. I used to where bright blue mascara when I was a teenager and up until I was 40. They really did make them stand out. I love them.

I suspected the connection between hazel eyes and liver problems. My grandmother's eyes changed color because of a genetic liver condition that I also have and the older I get, the more my eyes look like hers. None of her other grandkids got the eye color or the liver problems.

Didn't even drink, so he got robbed..but it kinda,explains why my eye color changed at almost the exact same time I was told I had a bad liver count, and the beginning stages of liver disease also..and I rarely drink.. so moto of that story is.. I have hazel eyes. My mom had hazel eyes. Hers were more to the brown, mine are to the green side. Though as a young adult my eyes showed more brown, but as a toddler and now an old lady my eyes are almost green. My mom died from primary liver cancer and I've been diagnosed with fatty liver. So the tie between hazel eyes and abnormal liver may hold in some genetics it may not in others.

I have hazel eyes. Clothing color or eyeshadow would change the color to other people. Green, purple, and brown were what people would tell me. You could see brown, green, purple and gold in my eyes.

I found this fascinating, thank you. My son has blue eyes but one eye has quite a thick hazel stripe through the iris. I've often wondered why.

My mom had hazel eyes which would turn grey at times. My dad had brown eyes and me i have deep dark brown eyes. I love the color of my eyes. Very satisfied with them and through the years I heard many times that they were very pretty.

Yes, I think brown eyes are also beautiful. I do like to see brown eyes on the ladies, especially if they have light skin. I like the contrast. Plus, some of my favorite female fictional characters from back in the day as a kid are beauties with brown eyes too. Lara Croft and Tifa Lockhart, for example. haha

My dad's side of the family we have a blue ring around our brown eyes, much darker when young, much lighter and wider past age 60. Very characteristic of the people of my dad's ancestral land in Spain, where there is an abundance of strikingly beautiful blue eyes!

I visited my relatives in Lithuania with my Mom. We sat at a table with 30 people. It was really impressionable to see everyone had blue eyes too. Two of my cousins have beautiful amber eyes. Their Mom's heritage was Italian. I have seen albino people's eyes as well as one girl with beautiful heterochromic eyes. But the most exotic and beautiful eyes I have seen were a clear bright aqua lime green. His father had the same dilute and striking colour. So cool.

all people with brown eyes have a blue under layer, not all people with blue eyes are directly related to the man refrenced in the video, as there are extremely rare cases, but cases none the less of people developing the same mutation that removes the brown top layer, causing a first generation individual with blue eyes, however the large majority of people with blue eyes are loosely related

Had a heterochromic eyed math teacher. Also a black accounting teacher with golden eyes. My first summer job was scooping icecream out of a little shack outside the dairy. This man came up and he looked just like my accounting teacher, golden eyes included. I asked him if he had a sister named Alice and he said yes. It was her brother!

My daughter now 28 has brown eyes with a darker blemish one quarter of the iris in one eye. Some school mates believed she was a witch. Thankfully she is proud of her uniqueness.

The only features I have with blue eyes is high tolerance for pain. The other features, such as cruelty, is way off the mark. I am very sensitive and love all of God's creatures, they are so vulnerable, and I cannot stand it when a child or animal is abused.

Hazel eyes here. And yes, they do seem to appear more green when I'm in a good mood. The color I wear has an effect as well, but the lighting over my bathroom mirror never changes, and I can notice a difference. I am also a very unique and creative person. My dad had blue eyes.

I have rare green eyes and consider myself very creative in dressing and in my home arranging. Everything must be arranged specially on my own creative way not like it is standard trend but on the other way very modest ! And I hate having a lot of stuff , even I don't like to save money or have realestate ! I like to much , and it is my obsession people to think about me that I am different !

that could be due to either the lighting at the time, or in some cases, what color perceptive cones some an individual may have interfering with how they see your eyes, go into your bathroom and screw in a light bulb with a more orange/yellow tint, and you will see your eyes look more green, then screw in a light that emits a pure white glow, and they will be more prominently blue

Your not the only one. My wife called them mood eyes. She claims they turn green when i am in the mood. Is that why I have 8 children?

A very good friend of mine, who is African-American has brown eyes, but a rather wide ring of blue around his pupils. I’ve never saw that on anyone else before especially an African-American. Also, myself and every single one of my five siblings and our parents all have green eyes.

I had dark blue eyes growing up with red hair. I now have, blue, green, hazel eyes with Auburn hair. My son has grey eyes, my other son has bright blue eyes and my twins have eyes so dark you cannot see their pupils. Genetics is an amazing thing.

I have gray/blue/green eyes with a bit of yellow in it !!!

I have only known a couple of people in my entire life with the same colored eyes as me. They are dark blue with some gray. Most people with blue eyes will have some shade between medium blue and light blue but it's very rare, in my experience, to find dark blue. As a matter of fact, I only know of two people with dark blue eyes and that is one of my sisters and one guy I have met online who lives on the other side of the world. I'm mostly Irish with some German, French and Blackfoot Indian.

I have a rare form of hazel eyes. They are almost entirely a lighter shade of blue, but have a thin ring of yellow around the irises, which can give them a light green/light teal color, depending on the lighting.

Navy blue colored clothing makes my eyes a true hazelnut color. But teal will make the blue more dominant. Since cataract extraction my eyes do show more blue or green than when younger. My eyes were a deep hazel color.

I had brown eyes all my life. In my 50s I noticed gold splinters. In my 60s, they've gone all gold!

Blue eyes are the best to me ,but light blue is what I prefer! Mine are very dark blue and yellow! They look gray as well!

My mother always told me I was so full of crap my eyes turned brown.

Very Interesting, although the music just makes me anxious.

My eyes are true blue (sky colored). I have always been very light sensitive and see better in dim light. I am a very caring and empathetic person, a true animal lover, and a great appreciator of Peace. A friend of mine was albino with pale green eyes. She was a great friend. Sadly, she passed away in 2020.

So my eyes are a blue/gray. Like hazel eyes it depends on what I wear how they look.

My son has eyes that look Auburn like in the Twilight series. Interesting because in our family, there is every color except golden and blue-green in three generations. My Dad’s eyes would change from vibrant olive green -really green to chocolately velvet brown but usually they were hazel in an average mood.

My dad was of Irish/Acadian French ancestry. He had one blue eye and one green eye. He was a brilliant, talented man, very musical, kind & intelligent. My eyes are hazel,but can change with what’s going on in life/ or makeup. Interesting video! 👏👏🇨🇦🇨🇦

My eyes were very blue when I was born, but when I went into Jr. High, one morning I woke up with blue green eyes. I had a little rim of brownish around my pupils. Several people remarked on it that day, but my parents didn't notice.

It's probably because my mother is Danish and Norwegian. My maternal grandmother was a blue eyed Dane.

As an iridologist I can state that there are only two foundational colors: brown and blue. Any marking, discoloration or alteration of coloring is an indication of inherent or acquired conditions of the body.

I was interested to see this as I have grey-blue eyes which sometimes become dark navy when I'm tired. I'm not sure which category I'd be in. Apparently my eyes were really blue when a baby but they look more grey now with a blue tinge and a little bit of green near the iris, lol.

I have hazel eyes and when I’m tired they are green, when I’m happy and energetic they are hazel...and yes, I have had digestive issues until I went extreme Keto (carnivore). I fit the personality description of green eyes. I am 69% French...Jane Seymour also has different colored eyes.

There are both muscular degeneration and macular degeneration.

My background hazel green my mothers were pure green Irish Scotland, Welsh, English daddy 100% German but all of my children have very dark brown. Their father was a Italian.

You don’t need many people where their eyes turn green it’s weird, but everybody says how much they love my eyes over and over again when I’m exhausted they turn hazel I truly believe just like plants it has something to do with our ph balance and everything else!!! I was just at the eye doctor even he said I thought your eyes were green their hazel today

Iridology is a fascinating study and before you even said anything about the link between hazel eyes and liver issues I was already thinking that if you have sports around your pupil that’s most likely a sign of live problems…

Well, I have blue eyes and I do sometimes like to imagine taking over the world to be my play toy... But that sounds like too much work... Nevermind...

When I was born I had hazel eyes but as I've gotten older I have been losing pigment in my skin and iris and now I have light blue eyes...also my eyes are VERY sensitive to sunlight

(I'm lucky to be one of the 2%, not to brag! :D) , It took me a long time to love my eyes, as when i was a kid in school the other kids would POKE my eyes and say '' are them your real eyes'' , i was self-conscious for many years, of people starring, Im Black haired and Emarald green eyes, U.S.A. it's okay !

As long as we all have eyes and can see that should be all that matters in life i just feel really upset and pain at people who weren’t blessed with eyes I am greatful everyday for everything I have on my body regardless of my giant medical history or regardless if I like what’s on my body I have it and some don’t so I have to greatful

I have hazel eyes, more green than brown but the green is perfectly mixed with amber, so it's a green/amber eye

The iridologist said there are only two colors of eyes, brown and blue, any other color is different levels of toxicity of the body. My hazel eyes are evident of higher levels sulfur, from antibiotics,medicines etc. Many a earache as a child. My mom had blue eyes , my dad had brown eyes. When I started cleansing my organs years ago, my liver and kidneys in particular, my eye color started changing.They are bluer now for sure.

My eyes change from green to gray depending on my mood and I can even change the intensity of color --- which was a great help in staring contests esp going from green to GREEN!! My kids even swear my eyes turn red when I'm really mad but I can't seem to do that at will. I do have a lot of fun changing them, though.
