Also it's too expensive! Completely overrated as a whole! The summers are TOO HOT! Like a desert hot where you'll dry up on the inside! The food is here but its just basic restaurants that most cities have. You have to search hard for anything that stands out. Only certain parts of Aurora is bad, aurora is huge and i loved living in the Southlands Aurora area, i live by Denver Tech Center now which is expensive but it's nice and close enough to everything without having to be downtown. Still not enough diversity though.

Everything you said is 100 percent accurate from homelessness and expenses about Denver and Colorado period. I am from the east coast and grew up in Jersey and Florida, and I have been here in Colorado for a number of years. I lived in Highlands Ranch, Parker, Littleton, Denver and currently in Fort Collins. When I first moved out here a little over 10 years ago homes and apartments were more affordable, now you cannot even touch a home with a 10 foot yard stick. I feel this place was a hidden gem over a decade ago and ever since they legalized weed everything went down hill. Everyone and there mother moved out here and the prices skyrocketed. Living in the south for many years I feel like the people in colorado (natives) are rude, entitled and no sense of community. I am not sure if you guys noticed this coming from Texas? I would like to hear your thoughts on this? YES, Colorado is a beautiful state and the weather is amazing with the exception of the HAIL Storms and the NATIVES. I will be leaving at the end of the year and move back to the east coast where things are way more affordable, and closer to family. I wish you guys the best out here, and don't forget the HAIL storms they are the worst in these part of the country they will literally wreck a car and a house.

Dont do it...its not enough to live here and support a family comfortably with all due respect...the cost of living has gone up exponentially and still rising everyday! so many people are also infiltrating the streets that traffic and crime is out of control...I would have recommended it perhaps 15 years ago however, now its only getting worse and the beauty and serenity we once had here is sadly very compromised due to the influx of population and the fact that more people bring more crime and gas powered cars are destroying our once clean air. Sadly, I wish that when people decide to move here that they respect the environment they have chosen to inhabit however, that is becoming less and less of a concern for most people. I wish you only the best and hope you find a more life giving place to call your home.

Please tell me where the good spots are-most local restaurants are bland so I'm ALWAYS hitting up Popeye's or Church's or Jason's Deli.
