Interesting... I was just looking at the 890R when this one was announced/released; just going by specs it seems like you get marginally more power/torque and generic (?) calipers instead of Stylema, more weight... and that for a 2000-2500 euro extra... purely on paper that doesn't seem like a wonderful deal; maybe actual riding experience would shed more light to this

But yeah, 990 gen seems like such a small improvement over the 890. Really poor power increase for 100cc extra

​@@redline9221 Ok, but if the R adds another 2000 euro then it would go over 17k and that's nearing a higher range altogether. Unless it gets another 20 horses, upgraded suspension and brakes and all electronics enabled for good, it would price itself out of the market imho

New frame looks like ass. Why does the new casting process produce such unsightly results ?
