10+ Things You MUST Keep In Your Bass Boat That You Might Not Be Thinking About! Not required by law

The purpose of this video was to show people items they may not think about, not what is legally required. I did not feel it necessary to include items required by law aside from the fire extinguisher and I only showed it because I had to move it to get the drill. Thanks for watching.

I went out last weekend with that 7'4" Heater rod with the Shimano DC 150HG. At first I was a little nervous to use it but finally pulled it out and then couldn't put it down. The feel and action of the rod is perfect and that sound from the Shimano DC was music. My 10 year old son who is my fishing buddy came back to my house later that day and he saw the 6th Sense rod box in his room so he went on a mission to find it because he thought I bought him that new Heater rod.

Hey man this video could not have come at a better time. I'm going to be purchasing a fishing boat from a coworker when his pontoon is fixed. 39 yr old and never owned a boat so it's a new world for me it's older but it's something to get my feet wet (hopefully they stay dry lmao) I appreciate the heads up on what to keep and what not to. Like the jump box bc I was just thinking of jumper cables. Thanks again man

Professional grade rustoleum in gloss black. Eliminator problem solved. I paint them every week on every bass boat I build before sold. They’re also designed to help reduce vibration and cut through vegetation. You are right. TH Marine needs to step up on powder coating. As far as the troll jackets man I have tried them all and they all fade. If your new one works out please update. That would be awesome if it does. I don’t think anyone is as OCD as I. Ask the wife. I can’t watch bens vids without yelling at him through the screen for the way he keeps his rig. Lol. Great vid bro. Glad I found your channel

Harbor Freight Icon item 58074. Mini ratchet set with any bit you will ever need. Great for tight spots. Really small compact case and the bits/ratchet stay in place. Takes up no space and saved me multiple times. Worth a shot if you want to save some more room and replace your larger set. Also check out Line Cutters, they have a stick on line cutter you can put anywhere and cuts any line just pass through. Great content as always.

Justin, a lot of what you had shown I have. I love my DD26 transom saver and steering locks. I've been procrastinating changing out my TH Marine Trolling motor cable cover with a DD26. When I do, soon I hope, since I buy direct at their location (I live 20 minute away from DD26) I will mention your attempts to contact them. My battery compartment has a tray made by @MK2DESIGNS and have my tools in it. My "red" prop nut has not faded. Thanks for the reminder on a spare Trolling motor prop--I need to get one. So two questions for you. Do you carry a drop anchor ⚓️? And, regarding the battery charger/jumper could you not with cables jump your cranking battery from one of the TM batteries? A lot here but hope to hear from you. Thanks.

  • @JustinRoyal

Gonna have to commit 2nd time on this video as 1st was at beginning and was more of a shout out. DD26 is the shit. Got my transom saver in your favorite color RED.. 😬. Good for what seemed be trama kit versus lil boo boo kit! Any one reading this go to My Medic. ( Absolutely no affiliate) All US made 1st aid. They sale boat medic. Comes in like a pelican style case focused for on the water. Trama and boo boo. Absolutely awesome for the money if can catch it on sale. You had great list over all. Mite add small block of wood to catch prop when removing prop nut. I use 2x4x6inch-ish long treated bord and works great when need to back up sharp prop. Crampman makes good wrenches but not sure on other tools? I'd have to go klien or its not mine for cutters. Great idea for the vid. Being plumber for yrs, all about quality tools! Altho behind a desk last 12yrs good tools is the deal! Crazy 2nd commit. As i never commit very rarely on youtube. Just enjoy and will sub (very few) if see good person with good content. Thanks!

i always carry with me needle nose pliers and cutting pliers and Rubber Gloves. i use the Rubber Gloves to protect my thumbs and hands fron handling the fish so much so i dont get my thumb raw and shredded. Ever since i purchased the needle nose pliers at home depot and the rubber gloves i have never gone back to bare handling the fish. Best Decision i ever made , It has made fishing so much more enjoyable for me and its also a safe way to remove the hook in case a turttle bites your hook you have needle nose pliers to remove the hook so you dont loose a finger. I think that perhaps as a safety measure sir , that perhaps needle nose pliers might be a smart thing to have on the boat wile fishing to help the rmeove the hook out of the mouth of the fish or turttle. im just saying

Barbisol trick been around decades. Awesome hack but works way better when sucked up with wet vac. Also. Folks should always have an extra horn , older boats always fail. Bad deal to have happen in a tournament. You catch Bertha and your horn doesn’t work at boat check and your done.

I have Zip Ties and Super Glue! But duck tape is a no-go in Texas heat. It’s practically worthless and the glue gets on EVERYTHING! It’s 109°. Duck tape is a sticky mess.

Hey Justin, i subscribed to your channel last year. Your not kidding Brother. I decided to follow your advice. Most boaters go on the boat with their dick and 25cents and unprepared. What can happen will happen. Just started a channel. seller told me the boat is ready to go on water, only to not start and i almost crashed into rocks at the launch site.

That is not a trans one saver, that is causing all the weight to be forced on your transom. Get the old school one that attaches to your trailer. You will have trans one damage in a few years doing it your way. I have a old school 1995 ranger.I've been told by my mechanic my trans one is in great shape. I have always garage kept it, with the old school trans one saver. He says he see's newer boats with messed up trans one's because they us the same thing your using.
