I am proud of my elders for teaching me real history in my early teenage years. We Baloch from Mekran region are very well aware of history and politics of Pakistan in our teenage years coz it is what we are taught by our elders instead of gaslighting history.

As someone born in India, with family roots in West Punjab (Pakistan), it astonishes me to see so many Pakistanis claim themselves to be a different race than Indians. They claim they are of Arab/Turkic/Persian descent, and it becomes clear after speaking with them that they have been brainwashed about their history. If Pakistan were to be merely the name of a land, and not a political ideology, I am more Pakistani than nearly 25% Pakistanis, who migrated from other parts of the sub-continent. Yet, because of my Indian birth and origin, most Pakistanis don't really accept me as such. Your videos give me hope that one day there will be a new Pakistan, one that will be more in concurrence with its real origin, its real identity, which is one of thousands of years of sub-continents history. Pakistanis are not descendants of Arabs/Turks/Persians, but the people of the Indus-Valley Civilization, people of Indo-Aryan and Dravidian roots, brothers of their neighbours to the east. We are one people. Please keep up the good work.

Only when I reached my 2nd year at Karachi University, I used to believe what had been taught to us in our books. It is only for some fearless teachers who shed light on the real history of Pakistan. I thank them today that they imparted knowledge to us which was previously unknown to many students like me.

i am currently at 2nd year... and i've never took pak studies serious. In fact, whatever i've learnt came from the internet which is full of facts (majorly) but yeah... i've not learnt anything practical from the curriculum (they are literally defaming books lol) instead youtube was my source

Compare Indian NCERT books with Pakistani books. Present some analysis. See whether any hatred is in education system of India. The problem with our books is that they went out of the way to remove atrocities of Muslim ruler from history to create secularism. They should have kept them and demanded secularism despite that.

@@SarthakSabharwalMusic you’ll see parts of computer, hardware software definitions even in 10th and 12th standard books. I’m a computer teacher for 10th grade and I don’t use that book lol. The principal called me once for that but we have to stick it it too somehow to make the kids pass board exam at least.

It might just only be my experience but when I was studying Pak Studies (2019-20) I was pretty much taught all of this. Even the last part. Whether or not it was all part of our syllabus or not idk. 👀Probably thanks to my amazing teacher *shoutout Miss Amna* .Will be forever grateful for her.

India won't have involved itself in the war if it had not been about so many refugees flooding in our country especially at a time when our country was not doing well financially. All of this had forced me to think that for a country to be together we should open our hearts for all culture, religion and language otherwise there would be another Bangladesh in making. But I think it’s now time to change our books. Not everyone can afford o levels.

The last war any muslim ruler fought against British was 1686 Anglo Mughal war. After that there are only Anglo Maratha or Anglo sikh war. Which proves muslims lost power post 1707. This is one more lie which Pakistanis have been taught that British took India from Mughal. Infact Marathas were taking taxes from mughal rulers after 1720

For the betterment of our future and future generations we have to accept the reality, we have to accept the history, we have to learn the real history.

I get ridiculed by some uncles with whome I play badminton for countering him that nehru was not a Muslim, and Gandhi was not anti hindu, plus godse was wrong in killing Gandhi, they always believe that godse killed Gandhi to save india from partition which is laughable also because he was anti hindu, but then i ask them if godse wanted to stop the partition why didn't he kill jinnah who was openly anti hindu and anti india , for this they laugh at me and group against me. the book is on m desktop. My mother In law father was a government reporter in punjab assembly lahore and they had a big house in lahore and they were told to leave otherwise they will be killed. they lost their home , jewellery everything. They virtually took the train whihc was shown in Gandhi film . In fact my MIL who is living with me in Hyderabad India was born in Lahore. I see videos of Lahore and seems to be a beautiful city.

You already talked about many of these facts much more in-depth in your podcasts. Still it's good to know. Sometimes I question, are we really that insecure? No country tells their history as it is. They omit the dark bits but to glorify the leaders and the past to this extent, heh. If history were presented with as little bias as possible, I think people would be humbled and more ground to earth. Especially we in sub-continent need a bit of self deprecation like the British.

Hats off to you; however, let me make one correction in last point of your presentation about " Lahore Resolution" (1940). You are right that in origin document, words states and sovereign were used. However, word *states* was replaced, by All India Muslim League session of 1941 in Delhi, with state!

True history of pakistan 1: kpk belongs to Afghanistan 2: balochistan belongs to iran and قلات 3: independent sindh 4: independent chitral 5: Independent hunza 6: independent kashmir 7: independent gilgit Happy now, based on ethnicity What about پنجاب???

All this topics should be addressed in details, feel like they can be episode of their own. Something like Jonny Harris videos.

While it sounds crude to hear, but I think Jinnah was farsighted in ways. If he hadn’t parted in 1947 we would have a much worse civil war later. Something like Yugoslavia. Islam is not meant to be a religion that will respect any constitution. It will try to change it either through demographic manipulation or through violence

A beautiful podcast. Thank God our parents and grandparents enlightened us about all this garbage called History in Pakistan.

Bangladeshis doing research at Cambridge University had never heard of the Jaliwanwala Bagh Massacres. JNU professor who got PhD in Cambridge in history had never heard of the Hindu Mela of Bengal in the late 19th century or the Swadeshi Movement of 1905. An Indian Naval engineer doing a Master's Degree in Cambridge never knew that Calcutta was the capital of India before 1911. There are ignorant on both sides.

In my humble opinion, vast majority of the population neither remembers a word of Pakistan studies a couple of days after they are done with exams and nor do they give a damn about what happened 75 years ago. heck most of the population never even went to school. They just want to move ahead in their lives and see their problems solved. However, the left somehow in Pakistan believes that by telling a couple of thousand of their limited audience on youtube that what a fucking mistake Pakistan was or what assholes the founders were, will somehow sway the country to suddenly espouse secularism. Being apologists for the incompetent Politicians is not going to achieve much. Sick of hearing how everything under the sun is perpetrated by the military and somehow the politicians are innocent infants who know nothing. Janab in a democracy the only thing that matters is political parties doing the right thing or otherwise unsavory characters get space to play dirty. Exhibit A: what would have been the outcome if the sharif clan didnt collude on the VONC to save their ass from the pretty damning corruption charges?

As per the constitution of Pakistan, the president was bound to handover the power to speaker of National Assembly ( According to rules, the speaker was to be from East Pakistan, in case the president was from West) . President Ayub Khan did not hand over power to the Bengali speaker , Abdul Jabbar khan ( going against the constitution that was drafted on his orders) instead abrogated the constitution and invited Gen Yahya Khan to declare martial law leading to the creation of Bangladesh.

23rd march 1931 is also the day when our brave hearts Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were martyred in Lahore , their souls would be regretting the very idea they fought for is now 3 countries.!

How can we depend upon one Historian KK. Aziz regarding such subject? There can also be many misrepresentation in Murder of History, other Historians Books are parallel to K.K Aziz Concept.

You are doing a great job !! Please also explain Kamwali culture in Pak and especially child labor, Labor laws. How does a small child spend most of his/her life serving others, children? What could be the solution?

Since Zia Ul Haq caused so much damage to the social fabric of Pakistan, will any of the politicians stand up to say that Pakistan must reverse all lies of Zia? Also Zia was the founder of lies but then there are some more leaders who were part to carry forward Zia's legacy. If Pakistan gets on to correct course now it will still take at least 1 to 2 generations to see ethical country.

I thank Jinnah that he separated Muslim dominated areas of India. No regret with the loss of Land,but Now Muslims of Pakistan are reaping brunt of Partition in their daily Lives.

Every week u should do such videos. 10 things taught wrong in Pakistan. U can do 500 episodes

And add that the Partition riots were started in Rawalpindi by Muslims and Jinnah's direct action is violent method which I call genocidal action. Second, Gandhi was the only leader in those riots who was actively fighting to calm down riots. He went to Bengal to save Muslims. Third, You are not Arabs. You are Indians who got converted. Reasons may be genuine interest in Islam, forceful conversion, desire to move in social ladder etc.

I don't think this is murder of history, but creation of history. This is the reason why Pakistan was created. Nobody in Pakistan says India was divided, but Pakistan was "created". Similarly, all these stories were created and they are the essence of what is Pakistan today.

Another big lie is Pakistan was created in the name of Kalma. This is not on record anywhere nor was said by any of their creators

Dear Shehjad, we admire your brave attempt to educate pakistani awam. Even in India congress only glorified Gandhian Congress History which kept them in power for 65 years until internet, media became vocal. Only difference was secularism at the grass root level kept India united in many adversities. We want Pakistan to be stable socio economically. That will keep the whole neighborhood stable & prosperous.

I know a Pakistani Ammi from Lahore, her husband was a high ranking officer in pakistan Army & her son studied in Canada at University of Manitoba @ Winnipeg city. We use to have frequent talk on phone. She always use to call me to ask about her Bahu, pote (my wife, kids). I was still new in Canada & use to visit India more often. So out of fear i never saved her number. Then unfortunately i had to change phone & number. Lost contact with Ammi. After covid i am so worried about Ammi, tried many ways to get info but to no avail. Joined many groups from Pakistan, lahore, Canada to get some lead. But did not get any success. Now i am Canadian citizen & planning to visit Lahore next year. What are my options? Like advertising on Lahore Radio/ podcasts /Billboards to spread the story & find Ammi. It was 2012,when Ammi was lost at Toronto airport due to her delayed flight to Winnipeg. I sensed her fear & talked to her & gave her phone to call her son in Winnipeg. Later we travelled together to Winnipeg. Since that day she accepted &loved me like her son. I can't sleep thinking about ammi everyday. That's why i am planninv a trip to Lahore. Please help me.. Please.

Unlike in India, Pakistan can have podcasts like this and not fear any reprisal. Also Pakistanis unlike Indians appreciate and take on negative views on Pakistan. In India they start cursing the media outlet if it gives them bad news about India.
