10 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT GERMANY🖤❤️💛

I have soon lived in Germany for a year and here are 10 things that I love about the country!
I am originally from Norway, and even though I might be quite patriotic about my homeland, I have come to love the things Germany has to offer.
Here are the timestamps:
0:40 - 1. The location
2:37 - 2. The summer
3:35 - 3. Christmas season
4:32 - 4. The chocolate and food varieties
5:21 - 5. The autobahn
6:07 - 6. Amazon
7:08 - 7. The bakeries
7:49 - 8. The nature
8:45 - 9. The food (not only German food)
Sorry about the snitzel, no hard feelings tho!
Let me know what you want to see next:) Have a nice day💛

My parents were good friends with a Norwegian couple. The husband was fishery attaché. The wife always cooked such delicious fish soup and offered a variety of fish at gatherings or New Year’s Eve. Their 3 children also are very international and are living in Sweden, Netherlands and Germany. Good childhood memories. When you speak I recognize the singing tone that Norwegians have. Wishing you the best for your future here in Germany.

Funny: Many Germans like Scandinavian houses very much, it doesn't matter whether they are painted or left in their natural style. The latter can also be seen in Germany.

Yes! I think both stone houses and wood houses has their own charm. I guess when something is different to what you’re used to, makes it more interesting and “special” I guess:)

I'd highly recommend to take a trip down the Ahr or especially the Mosel valley in autumn when the wine festivals are. It's a really beautiful countryside with tons of romantic towns and gorgeous castles overlooking the windings of the river. The best of fairytale medieval Germany and gorgeous nature with excellent food, drinks and hiking (or boat rides if one feels lazy)

I really recommend the ahr valley because of the flood last year. The flood destroyed so much. Infrastructure, Houses and many acres of wine plantation got destroyed and tourism wasn't able since then. It will take years or decades till the valley is reconstructed to its former beauty.

Check out some picture of the "Chiemsee" (aka. "The Bavarian Sea"), which is the 3rd largest lake in Europe, with crystal clear water right next to the mountains. You'll see the epic landscape on the pictures. It's an awesome place to visit, exspecially in the summer time for swimming, etc. Not that far away you'll find the "Königssee" which is directly between mountains - so too cold for swimming. But check out some pictures, too. Take care + all the best. Cheers from Germany.

Hello, I am an American and I am also a new subscriber. Your video came across my feed and I am glad that I watched it. I enjoyed listening to the 10 things that you love about Germany. I love Germany myself and I visit Germany at least twice and sometimes three times a year lol. My next trip to beautiful Germany will be very soon and I looking forward to it. What I also love about your video is your background sign which reads "Pray more worry less"!!! I love that. We can never pray enough and without God we are nothing. BTW, I have a KZread channel as well and I have fun vlogging my travels to Germany if you would like to see it :). Anyways, I am looking forward to seeing more of your content. One more thing!!!!!!!! Have you ever had Spaghetti Eis? If you haven’t had spaghetti eis yet I want to encourage you to have some. I mention spaghetti eis quite often in my videos lol lol !!!!!!!!! Have a great one!!!!!!!!!!! :).

@@elisesbubble I very much enjoyed your video and looking for to seeing more of your work :). I don't have any relatives in Germany but I do have a lot of friends in Germany. my mother's side comes from Ireland (1800's) and my Fathers side came from England (1800s). I lived in Giessen, Germany as a kid when my Father served in the US Army. I also lived in Schweinfurt, Germany when I served in the US Army as well. After 19 years I finally returned to Germany in 2008. Since 2008 I have visited Germany 22 times and I am about to make it 23 in the near future. I have a playlist of "Spaghetti Eis". I even have a video where I made Spaghetti eis here in my kitchen with my family a couple of years ago lol. That would be cool if you made a video of you trying your very first spaghetti eis lol. That would be awesome lol lol. Thanks so much for your response. God Bless :).

@Elise's Bubble Hey, I love to see your impressions of Germany and your comparisons to norway, which is (without having been there :( ) in may ways so close, but also so far away from Germany. Its a pitty, that you didn't find a suitable (most propably natural ?) place to swim, which is, I guess, difficult to find. Maybe you could try out the normal swimming pools/parks in the morning /aftermorning hours, when they are less crowded. I also agree with you about german food. Its nothing special at all, but the quality is good most of the times. Greetings Peter

I can still remember my first trip to Tromso. In Oslo it was 30 degrees in Tromso 12. The first time to experience dusk after midnight, which then immediately changes back to dawn was impressive. I also used the internet for the first time and Michael Jackson died. It was a peculiar coincidence of events.

Pro Tip for ordering things on Amazon, in case you didn't already know this. It started as a book delivery service and that's why even today, if you order a book, the shipping will be free. So, order something where shipping would cost you and a book and the shipping becomes free. ;-)

Was in the hot summer in Sweden and Norway, and it was great! Not to hot, as in France or Germany :) So we can even eat outside in the middle of the day... Was there because we love the nature and the wooden houses :P And depends on where from Norway you are, the winter can be better also, because we have more daylight. Which is cool in summer in Norway... Do not know today, but in the "drinking" culture is better in Germany. On a camping you can become very fast in contact by offering a beer to the person next. Also the "Kneipenkultur", means going in a beergarden etc. to come in Contact with the natives and just discuss with the people you do not know. But in the south of Germany it is also different from the north where I was born...

Hi Elise, it really sounds weird that you like the nature in Germany. I was traveling two weeks with my motorbike in Norway and although it was raining every single day😢, I enjoyed it very much. Another thing that I didn't like was the speed limit - often just 80 kph.🤐 However, good that you enjoy it here (no idea why you moved and where you live now). All the best to you.
