My grab-and-go watch is my Citizen Promaster Tough (Ray Mears). 40mm, titanium case and bracelet, solar quartz, sapphire, 300m water resistant. It looks good on all kinds of straps, too. I don't understand why these watches aren't appreciated more.

Omega seem to be currently the most unreliable luxury watch brand. Adam Savage, a huge fan of Omega watches had to send his wedding watch back to Omega THREE times in 2 years for months or service because it kept failing. If that's how they treat Adam Savage, imagine how they treat you !!

Agree that straps are the way to go if you can't afford/ justify a new watch. They give (several) watches a whole new life!

Would also suggest getting a demagnetizer. Cheap and works well. Surprise my watches and the spring bars were magnetized affecting the watch accuracy in some occasion. It's a good pass time for watch nerd to demagnetize their watches. 😂 With my limited experience, watch roll works on watches with straps that can be lay flat, like leather, rubber. However it's good to get a piece of thicker cloth, paper or leather between the strap and watch back before putting into watch roll type keeper especially there could be metal and hard material scratching up the case back by its own strap. Watch box is fine for metal bracelet but might not ideal for rubber or leather straps because it could mold the straps fixated into a curvature that's not conforming to your wrist circumference. Glass display if one use it to keep their solar watches. My 2 cents thought.

I have every single tool you have showed, they are great when you start not only collecting but taking care of your watches also. Nice video!

Fantastic video. Everyone shows watches but very few share information on watch accessories but we all need them. Thank so much for this video. My grab and go is my Omega Seamaster 300M.

My grab and go is my Casio Oceanus T200 in white, goes with everything, take it anywhere and its solar Bluetooth. It's the watch which has made me appreciate Quartz more, realising i dont need all mechanical. Great video though! Keep up the good work.

Love my Rothwell watch box

My Casio Oceanus S100 is my "go-to" watch. It's solar quartz with atomic time, so I never need to worry about it being off time or out of battery. It looks good with just about everything, and the bracelet is super comfortable! I could honestly go down to just it, my lunar pilot, and my zodiac super sea wolf and be perfectly happy!

Watch straps…oh my…..One of our banks visas here gets you points that we can use on Amazon….I have been going a bit nuts with that recently. My other favourite is Etsy. There are lots of very unique items that will keep you looking for hours deep into the night (😖)… My grab and go….I have several, but my day watch is my Kuoe 002 navy on a Milanese, which is also my favourite strap generally. No quartz. I love winding a watch and setting the time. Great video!

Got a few grab n go watches, not all suitable for fancy occasions. So there’s the many GShocks but I’ve a Longines VHP 43mm white dial GMT which is lovely, really is a delight. There’s a Citizen Eco Drive Endeavour which is a work beater and a Seiko Sharps titanium solar chronograph or the Seiko Sumo Prospex Chronograph that’s on a mesh strap. All good in their own ways and never short of a quick choice…. Great video, first time seeing one of them. Look forward to more. All the best, stay funky!

Wow, what a plethora of fantastic gran and go options you have. Almost a collection full of them infact. I think my favourite would be the titanium solar Seiko for that ease of use 👌

My grab and go watch is my Timex Tridate quartz. No need to wind it up and goes with almost any outfit in my day to day

A G-Shock MTG-B3000 is a watch that I find to be both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. It is a timepiece that I can rely on to provide me with accurate timekeeping without the need for manual winding or any other maintenance.

I don't have a timegrapher to compare it against as I've always used the app. But it's bang on. If it says +10... The next day at the same time it'll be around +10. I've not had a single reading off with it personally.

I used the watch accuracy meter app and headphones and managed to get 3 of my watches within COSC easily.

My definite grab and go, do "anything" watch its definitely my modded ae1200 Casio Royale. Vario leather strap, steel case with sapphire crystal. Cant go wrong.

My grab and go sounds fancier than it actually is. It's a titanium quartz chrono diver issued to the Monaco police. It was a graduation present from my dad and probably my favorite watch.

My Timex Expedition and Casio Edifice are my quartz grab and go 😊

I prefer square end leather straps for my watches. Tends to fit better with less overhand than the ones with pointed ends. Now I don't have a huge wrist (7") so perhaps for bigger wearers longer is better. also can't beat Timely Buys wall mounted watch case. looks fantastic on my closet wall...

Is there an alternative to watch accuracy meter on iOS?

Calipers (I prefer analog) are for handymen. They are useful for reviewers to verify specs, not much for watch nerds. Anyway better to use plastic tool for lower risk of scratching a watch, than proper metal calipers.

Plastic, absolutely. I should've mentioned to only get plastic. I find them super useful for non-creator things too. Just measuring straps, bezels, crowns... But it might just me being a loser 😂

1 other thing, get 1mm fork spring bar tool. Free spring bar tool that often come with leather strap is not working for every brand factory bracelet.

Wouldn't putting my phone so close to the watch magnetize it though?

The magnetism emitted by your phone is incredibly low. There's always a small chance, especially with really old watches. But all modern watches wouldn't have an issue.

If you're going to start buying luxury watches, I highly recommend getting a Bergeon 7825 Spring Bar Tweezer. Yes, I know, it's $150--but it's a lot better than scratching the lugs on your luxury watches.

You don't need polywatch when you don't have anything with plastic crystal. And better not to hoard packs of spare batteries, as they expire and they are more likely to leak over time.
